Taco Lindo — Restaurant in Florida

My fiancé and I ordered two burritos from here on 09/19/20. When I called to place the order, I asked for one chicken burrito and one beef burrito. The burritos are $8 a piece according to the menu, however, upon arrival the girl told us our total was $23.57. After asking the girl why it was so expensive since we excepted it to be around $16, she said that it would only be that price if we specially stated that we only wanted a burrito and not the meal. We told her that we didn’t order a meal and we only wanted the burritos. We mistakenly gave her $23 because we misheard the total to which she came out the front door and flagged our car down and told us we owed her 57 more cents. When we tried to tell her that we never wanted the meal and proceeded to get the rest of the change out to pay her, she walked away with an attitude and said it’s fine. She never offered to correct the order and kept trying to place the blame on us when she is the one who tried to upcharge us without us knowing. Unfortunately, we love the food but the customer service has proven to be subpar on several occasions in regards to them charging us for things we didn’t order so we will no longer be placing any more orders from here. If you order anything, just make sure that they charge you what you are asking for and not upgrading so they get more money. Very disappointed with the service. We order extra Chile reyeno in our food and the cooker didn’t make it. When she deliver our food, we told her about our chile reyeno and she give us a very bad attitude. Not only that we was rude and her tone was not acceptable. Norma the owner come to our table and we explain to her and she didn’t apologize or do anything about it. Seems like Norma was annoyed and she didn’t care. It’s the first time the something like that occurs on that restaurant. Usually they have a good service, but the cooker didn’t show any respects toors the client. She make us feel very uncomfortable, when we just wanted to go and have a good time with the family. This is a small Mexican restaurant, 8 - 10 tables. We have visited a couple of times without reviewing to be able to give a well-rounded review. I have dined here as a couple and as a family. The tacos are consistently fabulous. The service is ok... takes a few prompts to get what you've requested. The salsas have good flavor with a varying amount of heat. The past few visits have not been very pleasant besides the tacos of course. The quesadillas have been super greasy. I had steak this last time and it was so grisly that I could not finish. My daughter had the taco salad (which she has had almost every time we visit) and it was good but also very greasy at the bottom of the shell.
