I would like to start by saying the pizza really is delicious. after Mamma Mia‘s pizzeria closed. Tony’s was the best pizza in Naples I could find.
That being said there seems to be an extreme comprehension problem at this location. I order pizza for my family every Wednesday night. It’s a very simple order every time. one large pepperoni and one large, half mushroom half cheese. For the past three weeks in a row, they’ve managed to get it wrong every time. Three weeks ago they gave me two large cheese pizzas ( not what I ordered ). Then two weeks ago They gave me two large pepperonis, again not what I ordered. Then that leads us to today and wouldn’t you know, They got it wrong again! The receipt is right it stated one large pepperoni, one large, half mushroom half cheese, but of course when I get home and open the box there is no half cheese. I’m not sure if the dude making the pies is illiterate or what. Hopefully the owner or whoever’s in charge over there sees my review and helps the gentleman with...
Read moreWe're from out of town and looking for some pizza places near Great Wolf Lodge where we were staying, 2 NY pizza places in same plaza, so we flipped a coin. Called Tony's and girl who answered seemed annoyed i was calling, so let it slide (assuming just busy) and said would like to place a carry out order, she immediately stated well you have to pay over the phone (I had planned on it anyway) again sounding agitated. I said OK, and said I need 10 wings, she immediately stopped me and said we are out of wings, so I hesitated and she said (again very annoyed) you want to figure it out and call us back... so we did, we ordered 2 large pizzas and wings from Santi', they were very nice and pizza and wings were delicious. Tony's might want to try just being a little friendly or might scare away customers as the...
Read moreOur pizza order was incorrect but half had pepperoni which is what we wanted so we ate that. But even if it was the correct pizza, the crust was stale and cheese hardened. This was not a fresh pizza. Not using their own delivery driver made matters worse, as the delivery service they’ve employed left our food outside, even though instructed to hand it to a human, and set the bag with our caprese and ricotta meatballs upside down, which caused the juices to leak everywhere. Not sure what the N.Y. stands for but this pizza is not ‘New York’ pizza. The other items we ordered were just okay, and no one wanted seconds. We won’t be ordering from this...
