The Grape Winery — Restaurant in Florida

Long overdue 5 star review for Paul and his place. My wife and I have been regulars since we moved here three years ago. I’m a beer guy and never had anything other than store bought wine prior to popping into Gilded Grape. We went to a wine tasting event and karaoke night before, where I got to experience wines outside of my comfort zone. Since then, we’ve made our own batches, and continually try their other wines. Most recently, we popped in for a few bottles of wine and decided to stop and do a tasting. Which includes 6 wines of your choice and a 7th dessert wine, along with some pretzels and water. After being pleasantly surprised with new to us flavors, we decided on a red, white, and dessert wine to take home. I’m commenting on a post someone put on here about being asked to move from a parking spot. She stated that she was picking up business cards and menus from here and the food place next door. I’m a volunteer at the Grape Winery and I’ve dealt with this girl before. She gave me the same excuse that she was new to the area and so on. Anyway her story is not true, her husband came out of the Caribbean food place next door with food. The business next door and the Grape only have 5 parking spots each in front and she pulls up in front and takes one of our spots when there was two open next door. Very disappointed. New to the area was stopping to pick up menus & business cards from different restaurants and businesses pulled into this place so i can google it to see what the business was while my husband grabbed a menu next door from the restaurant. I was immediately approached by a man telling me to move i couldn’t park there. I explained i was googling the company we are new to the area checking out all the businesses. He continued to tell me to move as i was trying to ask about the company he was very rude and short saying “we just sell wine and beer” in a impatient rude tone.
