Havana Slice - Cuban Pizza — Restaurant in Port Charlotte

I had an amazing experience at Havana Slice! From the moment I walked in, the service was excellent. The girl at the counter was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond with her recommendations, suggesting customizations that made the food even more flavorful. You can really tell that everything here is made with love—the flavors were bold and delicious. The pricing was incredibly reasonable, the sandwich was massive, and the milkshake was very good serving.

We got the Cuban with the sweet bread and the guava milkshake, and both were absolutely delicious. We’ve only been once, but we haven’t had food like this since visiting the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. I was shocked to taste fruit that fresh, that instantly brought me back. You can tell the owners have created a little piece of home right here in Port Charlotte. Can’t speak highly enough about the quality of the food—everything is made from scratch and packed with flavor.

Beyond the food, the entire experience was fantastic. The restaurant is clean, the service is impressively fast, and it’s clear they take pride in their business. They’ve invested in their marketing, and it shows in the attention to detail. Never had Cuban Pizza before and I am from NYC but I was very impressed with the Food, Service and the physical establishment. I ordered a Chorizo Personal Pizza and was amazed hiw tasty it was and how much they give you I could only finish half and took the rest home to reheat for lunch tomorrow. The Chorizo Pizza is like having a Sicilian in NYC with small pieces of pork on it AMAZING!!!! Also had a batido which was a milk shake made out of Mamey a tropical fruit haven't had one like that since I was in Puerto Rico! Service was exceptional and friendly they speak both English and Spanish and the young lady who served me was very attentive! My wife is from the Bronx and is Italian and she felt the same way as I did and we will be coming here often.HIGHLY...

I had a Cuban sandwich for the first time it was so so good.. The young lady that works the counter was such a nice pleasant and knowledgeable person to deal with explained everything perfectly. On top of that the best homemade cookies I've ever had in my life!! And they were homemade by owner what an experience. I would highly recommend this excellent place!!.. Going back very soon..
