I’ve been coming to Kava Culture PC for 5 years now. This place is very welcoming and accepting of all lifestyles. I’ve seen many managers come and go and a few I truly miss. They have all been very friendly except one but she is no longer here.
Now I do feel Ricky was demoted too soon. Every new manager needs time to prove their worth. He was on the right track and I feel in a year you would have seen an amazing change to your PC location and a boost in sales. No one coming in as manager can make a huge change in less than 6 months, but you must of had your reasons. He definitely was on the right track, spring break cookout, boxing night gathering even a Super Bowl party.
As for your new manager/returning manager Jaclyn she is amazing. She stepped right in where she left off and kept it rolling so well you didn’t even realize there was a change. Just this morning when I walked it she immediately greeted me by name, made my drink of choice and then looked at me and said let’s do bombs I’ve been waiting for you. She truly is amazing and I consider her a great friend and feel I could call on her for anything even though I’ve only known her since coming to your PC location, that’s how welcoming she makes me feel and I’ve seen her the same way with others. I have checked out other kava bars in the area but always end up back here for the vibe and friendly atmosphere.
The kavatenders are so amazing and get to know you personally so much that you can walk in the door, the greet you by name and already know what drink you are going to order.
They have different events anlmost every night and Bigger events for every holiday, and make you feel like family.
I will end this with you have a great group of kavatenders at your PC location led by an amazing manager who truly takes her career to heart and wants everyone to feel welcomed without having to deal with issues or drama being provoked at your PC location. This is truly...
Read moreStopped in yesterday morning (5/13) right when they open, 8am, and Sean was our kava tender. My wife and I frequent this establishment 1 to 2 times a week, and always have good service and excellent drinks. It has a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that sets the stage for good conversation with those you came with, along with others around you. I highly recommend Kava Culture to anyone who wants to socialize with friends, and friends you haven't met yet, in an alcohol free environment.
As for Sean, I cannot praise him enough. Do not get me wrong, every kava tender there is amazing. They all mix wonderful drinks, serve them with a smile, and engage with you. But Sean takes it to another level: he greets you immediately upon entering, with a genuine sincerity that makes you feel welcome; takes your order in an appropriate amount of time, even when busy; and his drinks are consistent and delicious.
So, if you are wanting to check out something new, or someplace new, no matter who is working that day, you can be assured that your experience will be a good one.
P.S. If you like fruity, the elixer raspberry lemonade is delicious and refreshing. If you like things on the sweeter side, the peanut butter cup with kava is my new favorite. Also, they have plenty of outside seating, some in the sun for those so inclined, and plenty under the shade of a large heritage oak, or under a pagoda (with...
Read moreThe first time we were received was amazing, but the service we quickly found out was a coin toss. Some of the bartenders know exactly what they’re doing and if they don’t know how to make a drink on the menu, they’re kind enough to walk us through it to make sure it’s perfect. Others serve water downed coffee that tastes like sink water. When we ask why it tastes so terrible, they don’t bother offering to remake it and don’t seem to care that their menu offers various cafe beverages yet they don’t know how to make them. Their kava is overcharged, but we didn’t mind at first because the service was so great until overhearing a meeting where they teased customers such as us who have an appreciation for coffee and know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. I don’t think we will be back again since Downtown Kava makes just as great beverages for a better price and just as...
