Never got a reply to my email .
Hello! I am Xenia and I am from Ohio! I came to visit for the week to see my family. Just a little background before I get into what I wanted to say. On April 5th 2022, I went to get lunch at The Great American Bagel! It was between the hours of 2-3:30. It was located in the fort Myers airport in the D terminal. My flight was delayed so I thought I’d go get a bite. There was a girl (could not see her name tag) she looked Hispanic and had brown and blond hair , she said “ hello what can I get started for you on this beautiful day”, those are words I wouldn’t forget . It was a bad day because of the delay, although that was my issue it was great hearing those kind words. As she’s taking my order the guy at the register, I believe his name is Lucas that’s what my receipts says , young man with a nose ring, laughs at her and says “it’s never a beautiful day, especially when the line is long”, “ I don’t know what you always say that”. Her reply was “ to me it is” as she continues to make my order, as well as make 5 other orders at the same time ! When it was time for me to pay, he rolls his eyes and asks me what I had ordered. I told him , and payed , the young lady that was kind to me directed me to the napkins , and he then said “they can find it themselves I don’t want to do all that talking “. The point of this email is, I hope you are taking care of the young lady she is a gem!!!!! But as for him , people like him whom are nasty and look like they don’t want to work shouldn’t be in any kind of business talking to people or about people like that !! When I’m standing right there! She made a Great sand which ! I will be coming again .. but as for his lack of respect, only bad experience about The great American Bagel. You could thank her, I sure will be coming back...

Hello, I am writing to make you aware of the encounter I just had with your staff. I went in and was met with rude customer service from the very beginning. There were two women at the ovens making sandwiches who were speaking Spanish to one another and barely interacting with customers. I ordered a panini with them but then when I went to the register I changed my mind and ordered a bagel instead. I was not aware that the people at the ovens did not go in order by what comes up on the computer. One of the women threw the panini on the glass, no “have a nice day” no nothing. I let her know that I had told the young lady at the register (who was the only one expressing kindness in this store) that I wanted a bagel instead. She yelled “IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU TOLD HER, YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO CHANGE THE ORDER WITH ME!” Please run your cameras back to watch this encounter. It happened about 10 minutes ago. This is NOT the way to treat paying customers. I will be writing a Google review as well. These women need to be held accountable for their disgusting attitudes. If I have to encounter these two again, I will not be returning to your...
Read moreIt was fine. There are not many food options at RSW. I had an early morning flight and needed some food to hold me over until I would be able to get lunch. I ordered and Asiago bagel with cream cheese. I will say the time it took to place my order and receive my order was quick. However, the employees were not the friendliest. I watched an employee be super rude to a customer in front of me. While he wasn't the most chipper person he didn't do anything that warrant her behavior. The employees expectation of how a stressed traveller should act at 6 in the morning was set really high. It was just overall a bad look for her as an employee. This is coming from someone who worked retail for over 20 years so I DO know what it is like to work with people and how she bahaved was uncalled for. The bagel was not that great either. This was probably the worst bagel I have ever had and I really love bagels. I found it to be lacking in flavor and pretty dry. I didn't even end up eating the entire thing becuase it wasn't worth it. I would pass on...
