Fiercely Fresh!🔥 Ok with seeing all your posts recommending #ThePress there was no way I couldn't try it💯 My husband took me there today and right off the back the smell in there was mouth watering! We got the pleasure of sitting at the bar and having Javier take care of us. The staff was so friendly and inviting it made you want to chill in there forever🍻 They made it a perfect atmosphere. OK I know.. let's get to the food🤣 We got the ASIAN PORK SKEWERS for the appetizer and the pork was sooooo tender it melted in my mouth. The sauce was very delicious perfect amount of sweet and savory. Alex got the Tomato Bisque Soup and the EL CUBANO PANINI that made me very jealous😂 It looked perfect and since once we got home nothing survived I didn't even get a chance to try it. My most highly recommended item is the BLACKENED CHICKEN PASTA 🥰 The sauce was to die for and its now my favorite pasta in St.Augustine 🤗 The chicken was blackened beautifully. My mom got the 🏆THE CONQUISTADOR WINNER OF THE BEST BURGER IN ST. AUGUSTINE!🏆 datil pepper stuffed burger topped with bacon, chorizo, manchego, onion straws, lettuce tomato raw onion, pickles and chimichurri, all on their house made bread. This is probably the biggest burger I've ever seen. Needless to say she had it done in 10 mintues. She said it was perfectly cooked and absolutely loved all the flavors. The fresh bun really set it over the top! Checked out this place while spending the day in St Augustine after researching all the local restaurants. It's a shotgun-style (rectangle) joint in a shopping center with an open kitchen. Our table was right next to the kitchen. The waitress was awesome and they had a daily special menu which stated that day "Sloppy Joe with loaded tots, or your choice of one side" so I asked to have fries instead of tots. When my order came with tots I politely reminded her I ordered fries and she said yes and took the plate to the counter and we could loudly hear the cook arguing with her that the special comes with tots. She stated that the customers could chose any side they want with the special, as the menu states, but he continued to argue, loudly and agitated, with both her and another cook who came up and appeared to try to diffuse the situation. Meanwhile we're listening to all this and getting uncomfortable for feeling like we were making an unreasonable request. The waitress was very nice and had to deal with him again when yet another customer requested a different side with the special and he started arguing again. Maybe he was just having a bad day but with an open kitchen where customers could hear the conversations we felt this was unprofessional and this is what prompted my 3 star rating. We'll try another restaurant next time...

This place has changed hands. Not a fan now. Went last night. Sat at the bar. 2 women behind bar and it was just awful. One women kept berating the other about everything, go roll silverware, go do this, ring that in, did you not do this yet. It was awful to see and listen to. Then the woman who took our order for fried pickles blamed the other woman for ringing it in wrong. Then we got our Flatbread and then the pickles which have changed and now they suck. Flat bread was barely cooked. Damn shame it use to be a good place with a fun atmosphere. The staff wasn't fun or lively behind the line like they use to be. It was everyone freaking out and sad.

Loved it. Kept seeing people post about this place. The burgers were on point. Cooked exactly like we asked. Medium! Buns delicious. Thick slice of tomatoe and lettuce. We also ordered fried pickles. Usually fried pickles are salty. These we're not. They were crispy hot delicious and not insanely salty. Loved lunch. I hope they grow and move into a bigger place. Service was fast, friendly. We sat at the bar so the man could watch the game. I watched the cooks. Those 3 were a perfect team with each order. It was cool to watch them cook and garnish and get the food out fast. Going...
