Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

Snowbird here🤣 before we left for our first home in Michigan, we visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe here in Estero. Prior to our last visit (March 2019) we had very poor service, food and smoothies. My wife decided to give it one last time. Worse experience ever! The, and I say this with a grain of salt, manager could care less that we were unhappy with the product that we were given. I had a green machine, my wife, a sunshine, both of which were terrible. The consistency and taste were completely off, to the point my wife was worried we would get sick. NOW, we are back down for the season. Wife, again, said to give this location one last try...all I can say is WOW!!! This place has done a complete 180’ food was perfect, smoothies were the best we have had in all their locations. The staff? Unbelievably friendly, happy and attentive to our needs. I did see a new manager their when we were dining. Not sure his name, but who ever hired this man knew exactly what they were doing. Staff were having fun, while working very hard. It was busy, but you would never know, so efficient and stream lined. Now, my wife is taking all the credit by telling me to give this establishment one more try lol. I would like to start off by saying that I absolutely love tropical smoothie and I have never had an issue with them in the past except at this one location which is in Estero next to Lowe’s. It feels like there’s a bunch of kids running it and they don’t care about the experience of their patrons. I placed an order with them and it was missing three of my four smoothies and every food item that I got was wrong. Very disappointed as I had two kids that were excited to have their dinner and it is 7 o’clock and now we are going to have to figure something else out and I was charged almost $70. Not only that but when we went in to at least get the smoothies that were part of the replacement they gave us smoothies that were full of ice chunks at the bottom and not completely blended. So sad as I LOVE TS but I will not be ordering from this location again unless these problems...

The young man working here was making my sandwich. He picked something off of the sandwich like a hair, or bug. Then he proceeded to make the sandwich on the same bread. I asked him what he picked off and he went back to look at it as if he forgot what he just did 3 seconds ago. I asked for a refund. The two young ladies were very rude. One of them said well its time for my break and i dont have time for this. They offered to give me the number to the manager but the young lady with the attitude walked off without giving it to me. I will likely research and find it on my own because I am sure the manager would not want thier store represented like this. There was also an odor when you walk in like dirty mop water and the floors were filthy. The four workers were not busy as they were in the back laughing and congregating when...
