Uncle Jiang — Restaurant in Florida

Terrible service we ordered a sweet and sour pork and sweet and sour chicken. 15 minutes later it's ready and they only did the chicken. They started the pork said to be two extra dollar charge. Printed out the receipt ended up being an extra $6.99. he had already said it was his mistake he had it written down right plugged in wrong. I told him I should not have to pay extra for something I thought I already paid for and have to wait 15 minutes for new order to be ready. In addition it went from a two dollar up charge to almost $7 charge. It's no problem sir I can cancel the charge $. I said okay thank you. He cancelled the charge and proceeded to turn around and tell them to stop cooking the pork. I said woo buddy you said you're canceling the charge not the food. He said "oh no sir" if you know pay you can't get food. I can't explain him why should I have to wait 15 extra minutes pay triple to charge he said because of his mistake? Just kept apologizing and bowing. The restaurant business my whole life managed owned. That Pork cost-wise probably cost him about a dollar. But the good will he lost in my business down the road will be a thousand times that. Set up business in America I don't care it's a free country. But if you can't understand and be able to taylor your business around American cultures, customer hospitality and satisfaction then hire somebody to run your front of the house, register or customer service who is familiar with this and it can make the right decisions and go to bat for the customers. Everything done with a smile very polite which a lot of American businesses could learn from. But it's ineffective when you drop the ball it needs to be fixed and it would have been such an easy fix charge me the $2 and get the food out and I'll be happy. Don't play theseBS games where you cancel the charge then pull the food. That's all thanks...

I have to come on here to say that this is by far the best place in pensacola to get Chinese food. I will even go further to say that it's the best Chinese food I've had in my entire almost 29 years on this earth. I'm wanting to share this because if you're new to the area which 6 years ago I was and with Chinese being 2nd for our family's goto dinner options on those nights we feel like having a treat or simply don't have time/want to cook...you know those kinda nights. Anywho, if you come here and not sure what to get the honey chicken lunch or dinner combo is absolutely over the top DELISH (hubby gets it as well and also recommends the generals tsos chicken the flavor is consistently the same every time we ordered it for the last 4 years.ALWAYS ALWAYS a treat. Were actually going to pick up some tonight which is what prompted this review as I was googling the menu for some side options which ps the fried dumplings and sauce are to DIE as well...everything from the food,timing,and professionalism has always been on point and for the price ya just can't get any better! (I want to also add that Jiangs is located 45 minutes to an hour away from our home but when I tell you there's nothing that can compare i really mean it! try it out...

I've literally eaten from similar Chinese places all over the country. Uncle Jiang makes THE BEST General Tso chicken I've ever had, PERIOD. Nothing has ever come close. A lot of places it's soggy, or the sauce tastes cheap and sort of ketchupy. Here, it's amazingly crispy and the flavor is such a delicate balance of just a little sweet with just a little heat. I had some for the first time in years recently, after being out of state for a while, and it just blew me away how good it is. It can't be overstated how much of a difference the quality of the sauce they use and the texture of the chicken makes.

The Fried Shrimp Appetizer is also really good, always hot and fresh and the breading is so light and crispy. Never hard, chewy, or soggy. I get it with every order now. Same with the egg drop soup, I've had egg drop soup I'd pass on from similar restaurants, but Uncle Jiang's hits the mark. Very rich and yolky, not just a bowl of hot goo like others.

The Seafood Twin is one of their tastiest dishes, with a similarly sweet and spicy sauce. Love a big, soggy piece of broccoli...
