1st let me state service inside at this location is excellent. My problem is that you can never seem to call to place an order. Said I would mention to the manager today 11/17/21 about their phones not working everytime I call and I'm speaking 2 to 3 months. I actually, went on my phone and checked history of calling that number. Better than speaking to the store manager I was able to speak to Scott the district manager. I told him of my experience with the phone situation and that everything I have mentioned it to the staff they tell me the phone is not working. I just don't know of any business where the phone not working for 3 months is acceptable. He said it's most likely due to them being extremely busy or short staff. My point to him was that a majority of the times I've called your stor was more then half empty like right now. He says he doesn't know what to tell me but that's what he will tell me everything I ask. Needless to say I was disappointed by that answer and thought he would be happy to have that brought to his attention. But now I know I shouldn't expect anymore from his staff if that's the District manager expectation. I will just take my breakfast money elsewhere and find out which other stores he manages b/c I want be giving my business to any of them. Even the wautress who took my order could see I was disappointed by that. She had more customer service skills than him. I wasn't looking for anything just as a business owner I just thought he would be grateful for the info. Sad to say I won't be going there anymore b/c staff lovely District manager was...
Read moreUpon arriving at Waffle House at 7:30 in the morning, the parking lot was already packed, but clean and well-maintained. We only had to wait about 3 minutes before being seated, which was impressive given how busy they were. The atmosphere inside was lively and welcoming. The staff was working hard behind the counter, and the smell of freshly cooked food filled the air, adding to the great vibes. The music was on, and everyone—both staff and customers—seemed to be enjoying the upbeat environment.
Once seated, our booth was spotless, clearly cleaned and wiped down before our arrival. We decided to order the All-Star Platter, and I must say, everything was cooked to perfection. The food arrived hot and flavorful, exactly what you'd expect from a classic Waffle House meal. I got my hash browns smothered, covered, chunked, and topped with gravy—an absolute must-try for anyone unfamiliar with the Waffle House menu. The waffle itself was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served piping hot. The coffee was fantastic, and our server made sure it was always topped off.
This is, without a doubt, the best Waffle House I've been to, and I've visited locations across four different states. The service, food quality, and atmosphere truly set this one apart.
Pros:
Fast seating even during busy hours
Clean environment with great staff energy
Food cooked perfectly and served hot
Excellent coffee with attentive refills
Lively atmosphere with great music
Cons:
Parking lot gets crowded early
Could be a wait during peak times (though...
Read moreIt is a law. I do not know which law it is, but it is a law. Waffle House is not just a dining establishment. Waffle House is a dining experience. You don't just drive to a Waffle House on a whim. While you can visit those bright yellow lights anytime, I choose to play the long game. Choosing a Waffle House for the evening must be based on concise and thorough contemplation. It would be wise to familiarize oneself with the menu beforehand, as it is quite easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer volume of dishes and combinations. Time and time again, I've entertained myself with what new dishes I will divulge in, but I always keep running back to that same old standard. The "All-Star Special". For me, this consists of 2 pecan waffles, scrambled eggs, hash-browns (smothered, covered, chunked, and of course, topped), bacon, toast, a bowl of grits, and a sweet tea. Tabasco sauce, syrup, and butter are my go-to condiments. I am in no way shape or form a food critic. I just like to eat. However, I will say this. This is one of the few places where I have achieved what I have believed to be 'gastronirvana'. There are echelons too, and Waffle House is one of the higher ones. I would argue that Waffle House takes 5th or 6th place on this list. For me, this experience requires a cool-down period. Distance makes the heart grow fonder and I find this true for Waffle House. The longer I wait between visits, the more I crave my All-Star Special. O Waffle House! My...
