Just left from Waffle House, and I've never felt so full.
I haven't ate in Waffle House in what seems like ages, and me and my family went to eat for late brunch. When we arrived, the cleanliness was up for discussion — minor looks of crumbs on the floor and dirty tables. We, ofcourse, didn't sit at those tables, they were small tables and we took up the two big tables in the right back corner.
The service was nice, being not so social only made it more awkward lol. But I'm always awkward around strangers so it wasn't a big deal.
I forgot the meal name, but I order toasted butter spread bread slices, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and a choice of Sweet Tea as my drink. My meal came first, and one by one my family members got them as well. The bread had to be my favorite, the hashbrowns and eggs needed my adjustment of seasoning. Sweet Tea was just to my liking, drank it all and gladly got a refill.
My Mother ordered strawberry waffles, and at first, I thought they'd be pink in color and artificially flavored. I was so wrong, them having strawberry slices in the waffle batter. She willingly gave me some and it was delicious!

Read moreI contacted this location for 20 mins with no answer. Therefore i drove to the location in the rain thinking they were extremely busy. When I arrived there were maybe 6-7 cars parked in their parking lot so I decided to get out in the rain, pregnant and with my two year old to see if the inside was packed with customers. I turned my video recorder on so that i could record the inside of the business. Once i got in, there were maybe three people seated inside and a lady that was leaving. I asked a pregnant worker if they were being told to not answer the phones she stated no. There was a cluster of approximately 5-6 employees standing by the phone talking and laughing. Knowing i was unhappy she asked if i wanted to speak with the manager. I responded yes. Mark greets me and I explained what was going on. He apologized, expressing no empathy and got an attitude when i mentioned contacting corporate. He asked if there was anything else and I said Yes, I'm placing an order. He responded okay, then turn around and left with the most unapologetic attitude you can give someone. Another young lady approached me and took my order. Read moreFirst off half my food is missing. Second what I did get is is all messed up. I paid an extra 5.50 for a waffle I didn’t get. $$12 for patty melt missing onions and bacon was a meal but didn’t come with hash browns. Got the all star too for the most part it was correct.
The worst part about this experience is the fact that in order to get a refund I would have to drive back up there. You can call that number all day, they want anwser at all. No way to contact them to get any issues you have resolved bc they don’t want to take orders over the phone so after it tells you that prompt it goes blank with no other options. You got to the website and no way to report the issues.
I understand things want alway be perfect food will be messed up but I should be able to trust that yall gave me the correct order without having to check Myself and if something is incorrect then there should be a way to contact the business to have it corrected instead of having to drive all the way back to...
