Okay, it started off as 4 stars because when I went through the drive-thru this evening after work, when I got home I realized one of the salads I ordered was not in the bag. Sooo, feeling frustrated, as this seems to be a common occurrence for me with drive-thru's in general, I returned to Wendy's to show my receipt and retrieve the other salad. The cashier asked for my receipt and I asked the reason why, and she said "for a refund" - all the while smiling and pleasant the entire time. I honestly thought she was just going to refund the price for the "missing" salad. I now remember when I initially walked up to the counter she said something about the salad being here, and I told her no need to make a new one, the one they had was fine - yet she insisted on making a new one. Now I am wondering if there was one more bag for them to hand out the window and I drove off too quickly? Not sure on that one.... Anyways, the cashier offered to give me two Frosties, and I said "no thank you", then returned to the counter with a big grin thinking my boyfriend would really enjoy one (me, too) but I insisted on paying for them. The cashier refused to take my credit card. Later on this evening, when going over my receipts for the day, I realized the cashier had refunded my entire original purchase price. I actually thought I was just refunded the cost of one salad, and now feel bad I didn't realize that, or I would've thanked her for that. I did say thank you, but didn't realized she had refunded the entire amount. The cashier was Shennell, who is probably a manager - and if she isn't, she should be. Shennell is A+ in customer service. She again was very pleasant and professional and dealt with my frustration very well. It had been a very long day, and the last thing felt like doing was returning to get the rest of the order ~ which I probably wouldn't have done, but I was bringing home food for two, not just me. Shennell gave five star service, therefore, Wendy's gets a five star review. Thank you...
Read moreIf you could give no stars I would have. We were on our way back home (12 hour drive). We went through the drive thru because it was convenient. It took forever to get someone to take our order but we could hear the confusion with an order ahead of ours and were patient. We should have known then to drive away. We ordered and paid. When we got to the second window the man read off the order correct then started handing bags and drinks. Luckily, we were looking in the bags as they came out. We told him we were missing a spicy chicken sandwich, fries and a frosty. Just as we were having that discussion a woman walked up to tell us that our payment didn't go through. My husband said then how would I have a receipt that says otherwise? Apparently, we had paid for someone else's order!!! They gave us back a couple bucks then told us they already gave us our food and frosty. When we told him he didn"t the manager came over and gave us a frosty and said we were all set. When we told him we were still missing a spicy chicken sandwich and fries he gave us a bag, that once we pulled out, I realized had a cheeseburger in it. We had to turn back around and go back in at which time they tried to tell my husband he didnt order a spicy chicken sandwich! Never again will we eat at Wendy's. It was 3 people and a manager and none of them apparently could get any orders straight judging on everyone else...
Read moreI don't understand how you can open a Wendy's restaurant and not have any napkins?? During the time of covid people wearing masks sanitation and cleanliness is of the utmost top of mind awareness that you would invite guests into your restaurant and not have any napkins to offer them! When I'm placing my order and I say I'd like a single cheese sandwich with no tomato add the mustard I find it slightly offensive and rude the employee taking my order would simply say "Just the sandwich" ? Well if I wanted a combo I would have said a combo and how about saying would you like to buy a combo instead of saying just the sandwich usually they come with onions but I didn't get any I'd be happy to share my receipt and number and use the comment line that's usually on the receipt but I didn't get nor was I offered a receipt and the manager type person that gave me my food that answered my question why wasn't I have any napkins was quite smug about her answer when I suggested she get some from Publix across the street that quote she wasn't allowed to because it wasn't from their distributor which really is ridiculous and makes no sense I could understand but napkins really. My food was good and hot and I got it through the drive-thru pretty quick other than that not so much a good experience today. It should have been onions on my sandwich I'm sure they've been able to get...
