Iâve been here 3 times and each time theyâve messed up my order and gave me an attitude. They overcharged me and added extra food on my order. When I asked the cashier to read me my order, he got upset. I then asked for a receipt and had a hard time getting my receipt. They didnât want to give it to me. Thatâs so weird. Iâve never been to a restaurant that doesnât want to give me a receipt. I complained about the restaurant to 3 different people on different days and they all replied with some version of âThat Wendyâs is the worst!â Thereâs another Wendyâs on Congress and I never have any issues with them. They are all nice and courteous. The last time I came to this Wendyâs I wanted to try a new food item. I asked the cashier and they got upset to answer my question. I ended up ordering something I didnât want because she kept arguing with me instead of answering my question. The food wasnât good and then I was missing items I asked for and paid for. Thatâs why the next time I came I demanded my receipt. The last time I came they didnât hand me my receipt. I figured the cashier might have had a bad day so I came back. After three tries, I donât care about the price of gas and how hungry I am, Iâm driving the extra couple of miles to the Wendyâs on Congress. Iâm sure that the only reason that they stay in business with such bad management is because of its location on a busy intersection.    Read moreIâve been with this location for years and customer service and quality has been going down significantly. Iâve had multiple instances where my online food orders are not done properly (I donât even ask for modifications). Some staff members just donât care about prepping the food by following basic instructions. And no, I canât ask for them to fix it because itâs a DoorDash/Uber eats order so there goes that. I pay for extra ghost pepper sauce and my order doesnât include it and the prep person uses mayonnaise instead of ghost pepper sauce on a ghost pepper sandwich. Just one example of the many disappointing lunches. Never complained despite wasting so much money here and having bad lunches.
What I do not appreciate is lack of basic front counter skills. It is not right and not fair when you have customers waiting in line for extended periods of time and you allow someone who already ordered and is waiting for their food to come to the front to pick up their food and suddenly decide they want more items. So you, cashier person, say ok and let them take even longer to order while allowing them to skip everyone else who has been waiting. It is disrespectful. They already ordered, they should have been told to wait while the remaining customers who came after them and have been waiting get priority to order. But no, your customer service personnel at this location did not do the proper thing. All it takes to make or break relationships is doing the simplest basic things.    Read moreThis Wendyâs is a joke. I came here to dine in for a quick meal and the customer service was subpar at best. We tried paying, the cashier didnât realize it wasnât on the right screen so another crew member had to fix it for us. This did not bother me at all, however I did thank the cashier and she just stared at me blank.. which I thought was weird but didnât pay much attention to. When we got our food, I ate a fry and it was stale as hell. I asked for a fresh fry and the manager instructed the cashier to put my old fries inside of the oil.. I asked for fresh fries, not well done. The manager thought he was being clandestine and kept glancing over his shoulder to see if I was watching.. Iâm not sure why he decided to see if I was watching when we locked eyes and Iâm watching whatâs unfolding. To top it all off, the reheated fries were even worse than when they gave them to me. Mind you, he convinced us to upsize to give old fries. Someone should tell them itâs the oldest trick in the book and it only works when the customers are DRIVING away in the DRIVE THRU. The nuggets werenât even fresh. The must make a whole bunch of food and then hand it out. Every other Wendyâs in this city has better food. Donât even bother coming.
