I am SO SAD that this was our experience. only giving two stars and not one-star because I feel bad that the manager was treating the staff the way he was. I understand he might have been frustrated but you do not and I mean you do not treat your staff like that in front of guests or ever.. Whoever the manager on duty was was so loudly disrespectful to his staff shouting"SO NOR TAKE THIS ORDER!!" SO we literally thought he was referring to us so we got scared to order because we didn't want anybody to get in trouble. however that was not the case it was our turn to order and when Alexis said can I help you she said it in a very rude and condescending way like it was our fault that her manager was in a mood like how dare guests come into a restaurant to order food, you know?! The managers attitude was clearly affecting the team negitively. The young lady ringing us up had such an attitude like we had come to Wendy's to specifically start beef with this girl, the receipt states her name is Alexa, with the attitude she continues on with my friend and I automatically knew our orders would be wrong. Oh boy we were right. I ordered just a son of baconator (just the sandwich, pretty simple) and also a number one, double patty, extra cheese, medium meal with a Sprite. She gave me a small cup and that's when I realized she only charged me for the sandwich and not the meal and then charge me for a small when the word small never even left my mouth to begin with. Instead of charging me for the meal she then charged me three dollars for the large fry which makes a pretty significant money difference, buying each thing separately rather than making it a meal which even if someone didn't order the meal you should STILL RING IT UP AS A MEAL. They were very short staffed and had literally nobody in the building and two cars in line. I've been a fast food manager for YEARS and when I went to tell Alexa that I was missing a burger she mean mugged me and said "you guys need to move". As we were already against the wall like where do I move to?! And she hand motioned us to "shoo" like "get out of here!" I was honestly so grossed out that a guest who is here regularly and also slips five bucks as a gift to the workers (with a card, it's not a tip so DO NOT START WITH "we aren't allowed tips" big difference!) Was treated so badly. They don't even treat non paying customers like this but here we are spending our hard earned money just for my friend and I to be treated like trash. Thanks, but something needs to be done. I'm still shocked and threw the cold fries and dried up salty "burger" away. Thanks anyways, we maintained our politeness and patience this entire horrible transaction.
Food complaint- our fries were still cold and not cooked, soggier than wet bread., my beef was dry and I had no condiments on it at all.it made me so thirsty. It was incredibly salty!! Also no extra cheese that I paid for. Idk if this girl was new and she was left by herself and if that is the case that is disgusting and that should have never happened so I am not blaming her for this happening when it could possibly be the manager's fault. It was a horrible experience from the second we decided to eat at Wendy's over MacDonald's. Never again I'd like to add that I never leave negitive reviews and I understand people have bad days. I feel bad for the staff but my God I work as a fast food manager! These guests would've had perfectly cooked food for free if my staff acted this way...
Read moreThis location isn't anywhere near as good anymore. 9/10 times our order is wrong somehow. Order a number three, bacon egg and cheese croissant, get a breakfast baconator. Order a asiago chicken club classic, no lettuce or tomato, only get chicken, bun, and mayo. THEN when you go to get your replacement sandwich after work at 9 at night, you are stuck in a line of only 4 cars, for literally 20 mins before getting to the speaker, followed by sitting at the window for another ten, ONLY to get told they have no classic chickens cooked and it will be another 6 mins. Then a week later, the decision is made to try one more time. This time we sat at the window for 5 mins, only to be missing our double stack. Since we were still in the parking lot, we got back in the drive thru, told them at the speaker we were missing a sandwich. They ask what sandwich, we tell them, and they gave us a freaking total. Yeah no. Not happening. We get to the window, explain we were missing the sandwich, thankfully don't get charged for it, but sit and wait for another 5 mins, while a group of three employees are standing near the window, looking at a phone, and one had ear buds in (which I've seen their employees with before.) I wouldn't care, if the sandwich was at least right! When we got home my husband went to go eat it, and discovered literally two meat patties, ketchup, and a bun. No cheese, no pickles, no mustard. I wish the promenades one would open back up so we can have another location to go to that isn't all the way...
Read moreDrive-thru. Evening. 2 sandwiches, 2 FF, 1 salad. FF- abbreviation for french fries in case someone is new to USA, perhaps the world, and doesn't know FF means french fries. FF- These FF are beyond "cold". Rigor Mortis has set in. Ya know how when pulling away from a drive thru, you reach in the bag to sneak some FF b/f getting home? These were already cold. Stiff. Hubby tried to bite into it. IT WOULDN'T BREAK! Cooked? Yes. But beyond old. We live about 7 min from this location. Hubby warned me and he never complains about food! I picked one up and tried to bend or break one. Nope. I did not even try to bite it. These would make people sick. They felt and looked like those single, old, dried out FF one would find under the seat of a car when cleaning it out.So, FF were beyond terrible. They rank in the horrific/make ya sick category. Sandwiches- cold. The meat was cold n dry. The tomatoes were rotten. Enough was wrong that I called the store. Tried to call the store. I tried 7 times from 3 different phones. It would ring about 10times and then disconnect to a busy tone. I didn't try again. I hate losing this restaurant. We are usually big fans of Wendys- love the FF so much more than McD's, ever since youknowwho meddled with frying fat regulations. Anyway- Hoping they fix...
