We went for the first time for dinner with kids. Everything came out fast. The vegetable curry puffs were cold inside and had a hair. Out of the I already ate one and the hair one was in my kids' plate. We complained, they took it back, brought another one and still cold from inside. The server said if we would like to try something else, sure, we asked for crispy vegetarian rolls. The main course came and the kids rice has 2 hairs and big in size this time. We complained, they took the rice back but this time the server is screaming in her native language to the kitchen stuff, pretty sure she was talking about us. We asked for check and saw that she waived off the curry puffs but still charged for the rice. Another server who had seated us came by and I asked if we should be paying for the rice, she said no. She does back and the new receipt has rice taken off but the curry puffs added back. I was surprised. She told us that they have cameras and all their chefs wear hair caps. I told her to bring the rice back so I can take a picture, she said she already dumped them which I never asked her to because she was supposed to show it to kitchen only and not in trash. Then she said we have to cover our expenses and blah-blah. We told her that we are never coming back and she still kept making our fun in her native language with her other staff. I called Town and asked them to conduct a health inspection. I also read a comment from another uses who found a dead roach in his diet coke. I will never go back to such a...
Read moreBEWARE, double check your bill !
We had 5 people in our group, spent about $75 total. The server gave us a check and never mentioned anything about they already automatically charged 20% service charge. And at the bottom of the ticket there was still a line to add gratuity. This was very tricky and misleading because usually the server would give us a heads up if the tips already included. And as far as I experienced before in other places, only party of 6 or more got automatically added gratuity, or if total bill is over $100. We would appreciate it, if she let us know about it first.
Not knowing and aware about the service charge already added, we gave 15% more as gratuity. We then realized after she finished processing our card. We involuntarily gave 35% tips. We complained about it, but she said that she cant do anything now, since she is not the owner. Only owner can fix it. She even tried to blame us for not reading the check carefully before signing it. That is very unprofessional. We then shared our bad experience with some friends, and apparently it happened to them also before.
This was a very upsetting experience for us. I feel like they took advantage of their customers. Not an honest and good business practices to earn extra bucks. I will also file complaint with the proper agency about...
Read moreI want to Know what are the rules to TIP at this restaurant ?
If Food is OK then TIP the server ? or If food is OK and service is OK then TIP ? Even though you did not like the service and if FOOD is OK then TIP? Only TIP through CARD or NO cash Accepted ?
My Experience today at this Restaurant was VERY BAD on Not giving TIP via CARD ( when i clicked NO TIP on card reader, i was thinking to give cash. even before i uttered a word about tip via cash , server lady asked me about TIP ). I said i changed my mind not to tip because of few reasons with in that she said don't come to this restaurant if you are not tiping My reasons for not giving tip at this restaurant I did not like the way she served me my Meal I did not like the way she took the order ( we are vegetarian and would like to make sure we don't get egg) she did not even listen to us and served the meal. she served complimentary soup and told sarcastically that it is Veg soup. My Kid was running and sitting on other tables ( i know that is bad but Kid is Kid ) but the way Manager/owner behaved was very rude.
If Restaurants wants tip and if TIP is not optional then please mention or charge gratuity directly, please do NOT HARASS customer for not giving TIP In my mind TIP is what you give when you...
