Beach Hut Deli — Restaurant in Folsom

They constantly mess up your order so make sure you open your entire sandwich on the counter before you leave. I've paid for avocado several times, gotten home and never received avocado, It's $2 for the add-on and I can get an entire organic large avocado for that price. I called and told them and they said I could come back for a refund or they can remake it, I told them they could at least give me something else for free since gas is almost $6 a gallon for premium and it's their fault that I have to waste my time and gas and they said no. Just easier to issue a chargeback instead of wasting time and gas going for a refund. If they want to get hit with a $25 fee minimum on top of the refund and product loss, that's on them for not wanting to make it right. Also, I've ordered their tuna and it's just plain straight out of the can, they don't add anything to it and tastes horrible. For $20 sandwich I would expect them to at least mix the two now with some mayonnaise or something so it's not plain and completely dry. I'm not sure what's going on with this place but it needs new and better management and employees or it won't be here...

I always love coming here for lunch. The tuna sandwich and tuna salad with romaine are my favorites. The food is prepared fresh and made to order. Portions (in my opinion) are huge and I can never finish what I order and have to take it with me. The staff is always friendly and I love the “beach shop,” “surf shop” decor. The restaurant atmosphere is laid back and chill. On pretty days when the temps are nice, I always love eating outside. The tables are clean and always well maintained, both inside and out. Beach Hut Deli is my favorite place to get a sandwich. They never skimp on putting a large amount of food in the sandwich, but it still remains neat when eating. I've never had one of their sandwiches fall apart on me. Be warned, it can be expensive, but the prices in my opinion are worth it. The service is very peppy and helpful, putting a smile on my face. The atmosphere is a treat as well, I'm always looking around the deli and see something new every time.
