I wish we had read the hidden Curry Club Indian Bistro Restaurant reviews on yelp. I can not even begin to begin my utter disgust for this place. Whoever cooks at that place can not even make the basics: naan, and gave us black/burnt naans (even more burnt than the photos on yelp).
If you want to end up with food poisoning and waste your whole weekend in the bathroom, then go ahead and go to this place. We would not be surprised that most of these 5 star reviews here were written by owners or their friends. Or whoever claims that the food here is great, is because they have their food quality standards so low or/and do not even know how to cook. One of the worse places we have ever seen, not only because the buffet around 12am, was not fresh but instead we got cold leftovers from who knows when! We read the review about the card issue and instead paid cash to avoid any of those issues, but instead of getting a decent buffet we end it up paying for a buffet to get us sick!
This place is like a family owned business, and the mom, owner's wife or whoever was the horrible waitress does not even smile, and looks like a bitter person who does not even want to be there! and who basically ignored us after we asked her about the buffet price. We asked for naans, and I told her please don't bring me burnt naans, and instead of getting us well done naans, she gave us burnt and greasy naans again! Not sure if she wanted us to leave, and made it on purpose, but we did not even repeat, and could not even eat the mess they made. We paid and left and that was that.
Her lack of customer service was so bad that she even noticed that we did not even repeat nor finish the first plate, but instead of asking if there was something wrong she just asked if we were ready for the bill! I am disgusted by the way these people treat their customers, it looks they have that restaurant to make just $ and not even pigs should get that kind of food, as they'll get sick too. That pretty much sums up my entire review...
Here's a timeline of last week after visiting the Curry Club Indian Bistro Restaurant.
Thursday noon: Relative and I went out for the $10 buffet at Welcome Seafood Restaurant Thursday afternoon: Relative and I get nauseous with stomach pain. Thursday night my relative goes on vomiting spree, and I got diarrhea. Friday morning: I wake up in pain and with more Diarrhea. Relative's admits to having woken up in the middle of the night to vomit and for more diarrhea. Friday noon: We both start to get fever, strong headaches, stomach cramps, feeling nauseous, and more diarrhea. Friday after noon: Nausea and vomiting continues. Diarrhea present the rest of the day. Friday night: Same symptoms continue while writing the review. Saturday: I couldn't keep medicine down to relieve the fever and pains without it immediately coming back up. Sunday: Same symptoms present the rest of the day. Monday: Complaint filed to the Department of Health to take swift action against this Curry Club Indian Bistro Restaurant.
Even if the food was free or if someone was playing me to eat here, I would not take the risk. I wanted to take a picture of the food I got but the place were she sat us was dark and not sure if they do it on purpose so that you can not see clearly what you are eating (and to take a picture I would have needed flash), but I'd much rather post up pictures of the vomit and diarrhea that my relative and I got from...
Read moreWe are there one day, when we left the DMV in Folsom worst sin and mistake ever made. There was a really nice place Tai Food restaurant next to the DMV, and Forever ♾️ nails. The lady who took out order was odd, and the chef scary. A weird creep with an animal control truck was coming out. We ordered chicken byriani, I had eaten it at Bawarchi when working there for Provin and his wife and family. The lady talked about precious lamb. It was very expensive more than 42 after tax plus tip. The meat smelled horrible. I ought to listen to Marissa about things she thought the place looked icky even though I gave in to request to eat Indian food somewhere. We drove to the Square in Folsom next to Pita's are us, and Row theory. Even then I said we ought to throw it away. She began eating some. The meat was nasty and unnatural looking. Looked and smelled horrible gross like rotten pork or human flesh. The smell was so bad but the taste was worse. And both of us have had health...
Read moreWe went in on Saturday afternoon for lunch and we were seated immediately. The guy who took our order was very friendly and he could accommodate no spicy request for my kid. The food took some times to come out (around 20 mins) since it was prepared fresh (we could hear the sizzle from the kitchen).
chicken biryani (no spicy): delicious! The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly. The chicken pieces were tender & flavorful. My kid could enjoy it because it wasn't spicy at all. aloo gobi: the spice was very bold and yum! The cauliflower & potatoes were soft and not mushy. It had a bit of heat which we (adult) loved it.
Overall, the food were delicious. I docked a star since it was pretty pricey. But we will come back to try...
