Worst customer service I've seen in a long time! Very unprofessional! I was in last night and the two girls working just complained to each other the entire time while making my food. One even got angry because the tape wouldn't stick when she tried to seal my sandwich so she thought it appropriate to throw my sandwich down. All the while im standing right there. Then, when I realized there was no bacon on my sandwich, I returned and brought it to her attention. She then blames it on the cashier for not telling me they are out of bacon and says she but bacon bits on it and I just can't see them. And when I asked her "so I paid for bacon and instead of telling me you are out, you just put bacon bits on?" She just looked at the dumbfounded and said "yeaaah". No attempt to apologize, no attempt to offer any solution! After some more pointless banter she finally offered me a refund, however when she handed me my refund it was $1 and some chance! She only refunded me for the bacon! At that point I was done and stormed out! I've worked in customer service for 15 years and not once would I ever have thought it was appropriate to behave as she did or treat a customer that way! Not to mention it was only the two if them so one of them could possibly have been a manager/ supervisor. I will never return to any Sourdough & Co again if these are the type of people they allow to...
Read more08/21/23 I know good help is hard to find but...seriously??? I ordered online and went in to the 510 Natoma Station location for pick-up. I got there at 5:50, ten minutes before closing. It was pretty dark inside and no one was in the front of the store. I finally yelled to see if anyone one was working. A young girl finally came out front and, without greeting me or even asking me what I wanted, went through these full body histrionics while telling me that all of the bread they had left was frozen. Huh? I asked how they filled my online order? Well magically, the bread for my order was not frozen after all. Note to the tool girl behind the counter- If you're going to lie to a customer's face make it believable; better yet, just tell me you're tired and you want to go home instead of doing your job. Now that I know that there website touting fresh oven baked bread could be a lie too there could be better...
Read more'20/7 1st time customer/review at this location: -- 5 Star for keeping in step with quality, consistency of chain sandwich shop food. -- 5 Star for six workers keeping lunch crowd moving through quickly. -- 3 Star for cashier who even after twice specifying a small/4" (once upon ordering "small", & second her asking what size so specifically stated 4 inch), I still got a large. even though A.) I walked in with my 82 year old dad, B.) him standing right next to me as I ordered first, and C.) him visibly holding his credit card in hand AS I ordered, she tried to close out my order. My dad had to speak up that he too wanted to order, and he'd be paying. Just a sour note given the COVID "no table/seating" (we had to eat in the car given we met up between our two home cities) & "no restrooms" already dampens the...
