What a great find! This tacoreia was perfect for dinner and drinks! The atmosphere is cozy, you feel like you're on the boarder, which is a great for a NorCal spot...transforms the entire experience. You have two options to order, go up to the register then take a seat or take a seat and wait/decide what you want...if you sit first the waiter will eventually make thier way to you..so don't be pestered if others get served before you do. Chips and house salsa are the best start to our dining experience. The Salsa flavors were on point and not overly spicy at all...it was like saying here's our flavors, go hotter if you dare. We ordered a burrito, Carne asada tostadas and the taco with enchilada plates....THEEE BEST!!! No addition seasons required! Rice tasted homemade, they cared about this staple Mexican side. Prepared perfectly! The beans...between the black, pinto and refried, they all had their traditional distinctive flavors and tasted amazing. Health portions of all proteins (chicken, Carne and carnitas). Drinks were great selections between the jarritos in many flavors, Coke vending products and their bar!! Though they were out of many beer selections, the IPAs available were good. We opted for the SN Amber IPA was a really good alternative and went well with the food. I also had a mojito. This was the most flavorful mojito I've ever tasted it was worth getting a second. I'd ask to go light on the ice next time, but I'd keep ordering them. The restaurant was clean, smelled of Mexico and the atmosphere with the Mexican music and decor enhanced the experience. Two adults could talk without feeling like they had to yell and two teenagers (who, let's face it, teenagers hate everything) put their phones down as soon as they tasted the Salsa and knew soda was unlimited, engaged and participated in the entire evening. It was a wonderful 90 minutes of family time. Hands down, just go! You'll love it, and be happy you found a great new spot that's worth the drive.

Two of my friends and I went last week. My order was ok. However, my friends' orders were messed up. One ordered for a chicken Fajita with Chicken. He paid for the item and was waiting at the table. After 10 mins, the lady who took the order came and said "the item you have ordered is going to cost $3 more, pl pay for it". We were like what...? Then he had to go and pay. It sucked. Second friend got a different item than what he asked for. My friend did not really notice it though it looked different. When he started eating, restaurant lady came said "we have given you a different item". She was not even apologetic. Sounded weird. The food items were not great, though.

First time customer…ordered 2 tacos, one pollo, one carnitas…both with cheese and guacamole…they were very good…and HUGE…was expecting street taco size! One caveat- although the portions are generous, the tacos are listed on the menu with just the meat and corn tortilla…all other fillings must be ordered as sides and are charged for accordingly so each taco ended up being about $6.50…an unusual way of ordering, and had I known how large they would be I would’ve only ordered one. Overall, very good food! 👍🏻

Loved the interior decoration and artwork definitely an upper scale Mexican restaurant from a white man's perspective. The food was good and it was nice to be able to sit down at a restaurant and eat because their back patio had huge open doors so have to guess were in between the restaurant and the patio and then the rest said I'm on the patio. Only gave the restaurant four stars because the service could have been a little better considering how many people were working we had to remind them to bring our chips and salsa that we paid for before we ate, and remind them to bring our drinks what is the poor girl who was supposed to be on our break at least brought us our cups but we had to fill our drinks ourselves and then we had to wait for silverware with our hot warm plate sitting in front of us other than that it was a...

I haven't been to Taco Loco in some time. This place used to be really a really consistent and reliable place to get an expensive, but delish taco.

Tonight the cashier was awful!! She made multiple mistakes on our order, which cause us to have to wait in line several times. This was over a 10 minute ordeal because she was also making mistakes on other people's orders.

Even after seeing the cashier multiple times, the order STILL came out wrong. The only saving grace of dinner was the wonderful woman that was running the food and bussing the tables. She handled the mistakes humbly and brought out the necessary items to fix our order.

It will be a while before we try to go back again. The whole experience was just too frustrating, especially when you are paying $6 for a taco...
