I’m giving 5 stars because Maria & Jasmine saved the day on 08/09/21. On 08/07 I pre-ordered 2 dozen assorted bagels split and toasted for a 6:30 am pick up. The cashier wrote down my order. She spoke with another employee who told her “ we don’t typically toast that many bagels.” When I asked if that applies to pre-orders, she shrugged her shoulders. I offered to pay in advance and she declined. The cashier grabbed her note in such a way that I suspected she was going to crumple it and throw it away. When I showed up at 6:30 on Monday, guess what was not waiting for me? Maria jumped right in and began putting my order together. She never said a word about toasting or not toasting. She simply took care of it. Once Jasmine finished what she was working on in the back, she jumped in to help Maria. I appreciate the way Maria worked to accommodate my order and the teamwork of both ladies to get me out the door ASAP. Without them, my review would have been only 1 star. And a plus…I love Ms. Beatrice. She’s a “no nonsense, let me focus on getting your food accurate and to you fast” type of person. She listens, she’s prompt, she’s accurate and she’s a very hard worker. The hustle and bustle of running and preparing food in a fast paced restaurant can be overwhelming so I have to throw in the hellos with smiles…thank you’s…I appreciate you’s…last time the food was on point…I like coming here and I thank you for that. I hope Brueggers appreciates her very well.
To all the customers that say the staff may come off a little less friendly…I immediately put myself in their shoes, look around and realize it’s not easy and that “less friendly” vibe can be easily turned around by saying Hi with a smile, thank you with a smile and how good the food/service is… instead of just placing your order...
Read moreGreat bagels but customer service sucks! I walked in there 20 minutes ago (Sunday 9/4/2022 at 1:15pm) and a young girl working the counter asked if she could help me. I simply asked her ,”is that 2 salt bagels that are left or just 1?” (It appeared one was behind the other but it was difficult to see from my angle) and she responded to me ,”I don’t know, I can’t see them.” Walking 3’ to look at them would have been too much trouble I suppose, so I responded “Ok, then I guess you can’t help me.”
People like this don’t need to work at places that serve customers, thankfully the other employees stepped in and were friendly and helpful but if I was a manager I would have pulled that girl aside and set the tone real quick! Absolutely shameful to act this way...
