I want to let everyone know about Seven Hills Larosas. A little over 2 weeks ago, they hired our son Cameron for his first job. Cameron has a learning disability. Things come to him, it just takes him a bit longer than most. They knew this when they hired him and it even took 2 interviews before he got the job. He shows up early for every shift, follows the handbook, and does what is asked of him. He even asked for extra hours, which a manager responded, we only give good workers extra hours. Cameron didnt even realize this person was being mean to him, he just went back to work to try harder. Well on Thursday they called him into the office and asked him how he thought he was doing. He replied that he thought he was doing good, since he was doing what he was supposed to do. They told him he was doing everything too slow and this was going to be his last night to prove he could do it faster. They didnt offer him more training, or a different position where he could still learn. On Friday the called and fired him. According to the ADA, An employer is required to make a reasonable accommodation to the known disability of a qualified applicant or employee, they didnt even try.
If this is how Larosas treats people with a disability shame on them and shame on the Seven Hills location particularly, they have lost a customer in us....
Read moreHoly cow. Where do I begin. I have been ordering from this location for years with no problems. The other day changed that. Last time I ordered they forgot my 3 year olds entire order. Called, explained that and said I would get a credit for it (which I never got). On Thursday we ordered dinner again from them for the whole family. An hour passed so I called the call center and spoke with a man named Brian. He told me that the driver couldn't find my house and that the food was delivered elsewhere. He said he would handle it. Another hour goes by and I call back again. It's Brian again who is noticeably getting frustrated at this point and told me he handled it and that the food was being remade and sent back out. ANOTHER hour goes by so I call back and speak to Brian once again. At this point I told them to cancel the order and give me a refund. Once again I was told it was handled. Its been a few days now and I have not received my money back and keep get forwarded to a corporate voicemail with no returned calls. We're being told that the food was delivered to us. Which I was not and that I can possibly get store credit. I will not be returning and I've already experienced how your "store credit" works. So I dont want the store credit. Read moreWe ordered 2 Calzones, and 1 meatball and spaghetti meal. Got my salad, and we waited almost 40 minutes for our food, nobody else was in the place. When we asked the waitress about our food, she said they had alot of deliveries that's what was taking so long..Really??? When we did get our food, my spaghetti was stuck to the plate and cold. She took it back to get me another one. Also, there were no meatballs on the 1st one. By the time I got my meal, my parents were already finished with theirs. Never came back to see if I wanted a refill on my drink, but had already left the check on the table. Probably should've called a delivery in would've gotten our food faster!!! My dad talked to the manager about our service, and he really had nothing to say.
