Disappointed. Again. A year ago the Wendy's off Moreland served raw hamburger, then advised us they could put it back on the grill if we brought it back to the restaurant! So, we sadly boycotted. Today we broke our promise to not return. This was the one in Forest Park. Maybe being at a different location it would be OK. It's my fault. I just wanted a salad, but my husband thought why not, since we were there, he'd get a burger. He missed their burgers. I had a medical procedure today. After two days of fasting, I was SO hungry and I wanted a Wendy's salad. I wasn't permitted to drive, so my dear husband, so sick from his chemotherapy treatment the other day, had to drive me. The line was long as expected, but fast - 5 stars! The lady that took our order - 5 stars! She was professional and friendly! Then at the 2nd window to get the food...we had 3 drinks in all. (We got a friend a meal also.) 1 unsweetened tea, 1 diet coke, one regular coke. No drink holders. It's ok, I can hold. Which is the diet coke? Employee: I pushed the button down. Husband: no, we have 3 drinks and none are pushed down. Which is the diet? Thinking she might remember which order. He said he is diabetic. Employee: maybe she (me?) Can taste it. No, I'm diabetic, too. That's why I got unsweetened tea. Husband: I need to know which one as he tried to hand the drinks back. Employee handed him another drink saying it was diet. Good to give us another drink assured it is diet. But no I'm sorry, just acting mad at us. The buttons were still not pushed in on the lid, so I did it while struggling to hold now three drinks. Got home. As managing to carry three of the drinks, the lid popped open on one and the tea spilled, soaking my shirt and pants. Fine. I just want to eat my salad...with no dressing. They forgot the dressing. My fault, right? It's my job to check the bag...I tried to call the location, no answer. I tried calling Wendy's complaint number. 40 minutes on hold and hearing recorded messages of Wendy's history factoids. No answer. Not really confident of them training the person. Don't want free food to placate us. So, here we are. Every person is going through something. The employee didn't know how we felt bad dealing with our medical issues. A little kindness would have helped in our brief but impactful exchange. How long will our next boycott...
Read moreI’ve been here a couple times and each time it’s something wrong with the food! Like I’m not sure what it is but I won’t be back. The breakfast I order is the Joey chicken biscuit and the sandwich is fine but the home fries are always burnt and very tiny not to mention flat. This last time I went I missed breakfast so I got a deluxe chicken sandwich and not checking because i was heading to an appointment I left. On the highway I opened to eat it and noticed it was missing a few ingredients. I called and was told on the phone that those items were recalled and some were just out. Instead of staying this at the window while I ordered, they just hand me this plain sandwich! I was told to bring it back for a remake or new item. I went back a couple days later at breakfast and ordered the honey chicken combo as it equaled the one sandwich. The same ole, same ole was given yet again. Not going back there for them to keep serving me burnt home fries. Read moreTonight the cashier was extremely rude. Didn't speak when my husband spoke to her and when she did finally speak she was short and rude. Ordered a Jr. BC and 10 chicken nuggets neither of which anywhere near fresh. Tried to order a cup of coffee and cashier only shook her head no when asked if they had any coffee and never even offered to fix any. Customer service in this place sucks, especially around 8-9 pm. The last time we were in here ordered sweet tea and was told its in the lobby and when we returned to the counter to tell them there wasn't any, the staff got an attitude because they had to get it. They need to clean house on the night shift and start over or at the least teach them the proper tools for good customers service. Will be a while before...
