This location on the outside and is side look really nice and we were excited to try it. They are currently hiring and I will say they definitely need the people. There was only 1 server for the entire hour we were there. I rated the service based off of her best attempt to run the dinning area by herself but I feel like she could have done a better job. Due to the lack of servers a few did end up walking but we stuck through it and here is our though on the food.
I got the MVP breakfast which came with Pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, tatter tots, and biscuits in gravy. The pancakes were not very fluffy but they had decent flavor, the eggs came cold, the bacon was nice and crispy, the tatter tots were crispy as well and not greasy, finally the biscuits and gravy were ok. The sausage gravy wasn’t really that good and the “biscuits” were just one biscuit cut in half so that was disappointing. Overall my plate was alright.
My girlfriend got the Roasted Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich with a side of Mac and Cheese. The sandwich itself was alright, the bread was toasted nicely, the bacon was kind of crispy, and the ranch didn’t taste that good. The Mac and Cheese was not that good. It was kind of sticky and the noodles were definitely over cooked and very hard.
I felt bad about the server being by herself but overall the food was ok and not the best huddle house we...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible. There were only 2 other customers in the dining area when we arrived. He wanted to set us at a table and we asked for a booth and it seemed to boggle him and he had to think really hard about it and finally said I guess that's ok. The kid was probably no more than 15 and shouldn't have been running the dining area. The service was terrible. We had to ask for literally everything. Like for our drinks. And ketchup. Napkins. Every item we had to call him over and ask for each item we needed. Nothing was in the table or given to us without our asking. Instead of a bottle of ketchup we were brought packets and they felt sticky like maybe they were reused. I asked for silverware and he brought me some but not my husband. The minute I took the last bite of my food he asked if I was ready to pay. My husband was still eating. I told them I was lactose intolerant so no cheese on my burger but they buttered the bun. The food was made quickly and tasted ok for what it is even though the cook did have to argue with the server about putting cheese on my husband's fries. If you want a quick meal it's ok but don't...
Read moreStopped by on my way to Atlanta from Valdosta with my grandson. Normally we go to Waffle House but this time we went here instead. Big Mistake! The food and service was just ok. But when it takes almost an hour to get food, (especially when you are on the road traveling) it's totally unacceptable. After waiting about 45 minutes I told my grandson that if we did not get our food by 8:15 we were going to walk out. Well we got our food at 8:11. I told our waitress (Patricia) that we would have left in 4 more minutes if our food was not there and she didn't appear to be concerned about our unhappiness. She seamed to be friendly at first. She gave the excuse that they were real busy with carryout orders. I can understand being busy with that but they need to think more about the people sitting in the restaurant waiting.
Afterwards I read some of the reviews and it looks like waiting a long time for food is pretty common. I will not be making a return trip to this Huddle House. If I would have read the reviews first I would not have went this time.
I guess the owners/management don't read the reviews or else they don't...
