Beauty & the Bean — Restaurant in Fort Atkinson

I come here periodically & will meet friends here for coffee. Today I didn't have time to take my puppy for his normal outing. They gave him a biscuit and small cup of whip cream. They also checked the ingredients to make sure their whip cream was pup safe. That right there was worth an extra tip. Also because of that, I will be skipping the line for puppachino & coming here more. Plus it is closer to where we live. My fur baby loved his biscuit and his small cup of cream. The coffee technician was very nice, patient and made my pups day. Absolutely love finding small town gems! This is one of them. And yes their coffee is good. I'm not a coffee genius. However it is priced fair and has a drive through, for the days I'm not meeting friends here. I asked his cream cup be small. Obviously you can ask for whatever size is best for...

What a local treasure​! My sisters, Mom, and I were enjoying a weekend in Fort in early May. The grounds of Beauty & the Bean were gorgeous! Tulips, lilac, and a variety of flowering plants enhanced an outdoor patio, a covered porch, and a small seating area inside. The coffeehouse offered a wonderful collection of organic teas such as decaf, medium, and fully caffeinated black tea (for example) in the pouch. Coffee offered was Collectivo with a variety of coffee drinks on the menu, but I have a feeling that the staff could have easily created a coffee drink of my choosing had it not been on the menu. There were quiche, fresh baked scones, crumb cake, muffins, bagels, and bars. Some of the bars were in a cooler As well as pound cake. Definitely a sweet spot to hit when you are in...

My son and I have been walking here once a year every summer for the past 7 years. (Except during covid, of course)

We've been watching this cafe grow and change every year, and they never disappoint my son. They always have an up to date menu of delicious muffins, breads, and cookies, and a clean, efficient team to keep the store running seamlessly.

My son likes to say, "This is a cafe that I need to go to every time I'm in Wisconsin."

This year, it looks like they have a new generation of high school students still learning how to great and interact with guests. Though nervous and spending most of their time in the back, except to take orders and clean-up, I'm hoping they will grow to meet the high standard of service we've grown accustomed to...
