I started going to Cancun when they were located on Drake and Shields. Went there weekly, sometimes more. I was happy to discover that they didn't close and had moved to a new location. Beautiful restaurant and decor. Still the same great food and friendly staff! My absolute favorite dish is the molecajete. I would eat that every day if I could! Another favorite is their queso fundido. I have yet to have a bad experience at this establishment. They are great people and have great food. I grew up in Texas, so I'm picky about my Mexican food. This place definitely ranks up there with some of my all time favorite Mexican cuisine restaurants. I personally think Cancun is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Fort Collins. Highly recommend and I will be returning here often. Salud!

This place is a hidden gem for one of the best margaritas in town! You should try the original, it’s so smooth. The whole family enjoys the breakfast skillets, and we suggest trying the green chili and habanero sauce with it. Portions match price and service is friendly and attentive, we’re always greeted with a smile and thanked for visiting. Other breakfast places just don’t hold a candle to Cancun. The flavors and variety are simply unmatched and there is something for everyone on the menu. Definitely our favorite spot in town. It’s (unfortunately) rarely busy so you aren’t getting the waits with Old Town crowds. We recommend getting in and ensuring they stick around!

Cozy neighborhood Mexican food. Very friendly. Food is very good...all the standards and many original seafood specialties that must be tried. Nice selection of Margs that are worth trying. Just west of Pitchers Sports Bar at Drake and Shields. I highly recommend that you try something other than the standard taco/burrito/enchiladas. Their menu is huge and has a lot of real Mexican dishes. If you just order the same thing you get at Taco Bell and complain it isn't real Mexican food and don't try something different, it's your fault. Expand your horizons!

One of the very few Mexican restaurants that when I walk down and sit I feel that authentic warm feeling run through my bones. Although I don't have any Mexican Heritage in my blood, every time I take in their enchiladas and a sweet sweet margarita I feel as if these employees are truly trying to give me the best experience based on their own heritage that they can.

I know the restaurant is fairly new and small, but PLEASE put it on your calendar to visit them as soon as possible when you have the chance.

All the employees are super friendly (I believe it's VERY family orientated and run), customer service is great, and the food is top notch with an extremely diverse menu that is put into your hands. It is also a very small space which makes the experience feel more authentic and allows you to interact with other customers which is a plus (at least for me). I love restaurants where you experience not only is based on the restaurant, but the environment and atmosphere. And who doesn't love meeting potential new friends sitting in a seat close to you? Or simply just being able to ask them their opinions on their favorite meals without having to play peek-a-boo over the booths. That's just creepy.

My only strike (and it may be small to some, but why I rated 4 stars) is the pricing. The food is heavily priced and the drinks IMO are overpriced. If you and a friend go and order an appetizer, main meal, and two staple drinks you're going to be looking at a bill in the low $60's. That's a heavy price to pay, at least for me, for a quick and simple sit down meal at the bar. But hey, rent in Fort Collins is not getting...

My wife and I had been here a couple times before for breakfast and it was good but our visit today missed the mark. We were seated promptly and our drink orders came soon after as well as the waitress taking our order. My wife ordered an omelette with bacon, spinach, tomatoes and swiss cheese with hash browns, crispy and a pancake in lieu of toast. I ordered eggs Benedict with ham, hash browns also crispy and a pancake in lieu of toast.

Unfortunately the star of the meal were the pancakes. The waitress let us know a bit after taking our order that they were out of swiss for my wife's omelette. No biggie she chose cheddar instead. The order took longer than I had expected to come out to us. It definitely wasn't busy in the dining room but they may have had to go or delivery orders to do so it didn't bother us too much. When the food finally came out there were some disappointing issues. Neither of our orders of hash browns were anything close to crispy. In fact they were soggy and mushy. My wife's omelette was made with ham instead of bacon and was unusually greasy. The poached eggs on my Benedict weren't terrible but seemed to be poached in a microwave as opposed to a pot of water. and the most unfortunate part was the hollandaise sauce was broken when it was served.

All in all disappointing but I'm hoping it was just a one off bad experience. We will most likely try as our past experiences have been okay and as a local restaurant I really want...

Worst dining experience ever!! My husband and I went for dinner. We first ordered Micheladas to drink. They brought us 2 big chilled mugs with seasoning inside the mugs and 2 bottled beers. When we added the beer to the mugs it only filled the mugs half way so we had to order 2 more beers to fill the mugs. Our food came out ice cold. The chicken was ice cold, the Carne asada was like cardboard and the bacon wrapped around the shrimp was raw. Once we brought this to the waiters attention he treated us horrible, rude towards us. The manager or owner came to our table to tell us he wasn't charging us for that plate. It then took them over 35 minutes to get our ticket to us. We were told that the manager was trying to fix the ticket. Once we got our bill, we were shocked to see it was over $50!!! We figured out that they fudged the bill to where it looked like we weren't charged for that entree, but raised amounts on the other entree and micheladas. We will NEVER go back or recommend to any of our family or friends!! We would give zero stars if we could!...
