Jimmy John's in it's self is a good sandwich shop. However, this location is just ran by screw ups. Don't get me wrong. There are some very nice people working there. But I have managed fast food restaurants before and their manager / owner sucks at their job. 25% of the time when I get food here my order is made wrong.
The straw that broke the camels back for me was I asked for no onions, it's on the receipt. I am slightly allergic to onions, it ruins my stomach for a day, like a bad batch of Taco Bell. I get all the way home, I find out there are onions. So I had to drive all the way back to have them fix it. The guy at the time was doing a great job at customer service till the end. Initially he gave me a coupon for a free sandwich in the future. If he would have stopped there I would have been happy. The company made a mistake he acknowledge the mistake, remade my sandwich and owned up to the mistake with a coupon. BOOOM! Perfect fricken customer service. I would have been a happy camper. But he was dumb enough to keep talking and piss me off. Because I can't eat onions, he said to tell them it's an allergy. I said I would prefer not to because they you guys will switch out everyone's gloves down the line and all of that is just inefficient and I don't need you to go that far. Just don't put on onions, it's that simple and it's on the receipt. He then said if you tell us you are allergic will grab ingredients from a bag rather than off the line and the mistake happened because I asked for sprouts and the food gets cross contaminated. I am still pissed off because he didn't get the concept. I am not allergic to tomatoes or lettuce. But lets say I order "no lettuce" and they put it on anyways. Well I am not going to fix my own sandwich and I shouldn't have to. I would equally be pissed off if they put an ingredient on my sandwich that I didn't want on there. It's not hard to not cross contaminate their food and if they are really that horrible at cross contaminating their food, they need to find a new way to setup their ingredients line. Simple as that.
Oddly, this store is the only store I have this problem with. I have never had a problem like this at any other...

Read moreThis location literally NEVER correctly makes my order. I occasionally make an online order from here as part of a group lunch delivery at work, and out of 5+ orders my sandwich has not been correct a single time. I have a very simple order, but they seem to be in such a rush to make their food fast that they do not care about getting it right.
Whether it's forgetting to include optional items like peppers or onions, or omitting standard parts of the sandwich like the avocado on my turkey club, or forgetting to add extra items that I paid for, like bacon - this location cannot be bothered to take the time and actually read my online order and make my sandwich correctly. Furthermore, I always check the 'cut in half' option when ordering online and they NEVER cut my sandwich in half.
HOW HARD IS IT TO READ THE ORDER AND MAKE THE SANDWICH CORRECTLY? Apparently for the staff at this location, it's impossible. Pick a different JJ's if you want to actually get...
