This is a rough one. I was so happy to see a brewery in this part of town where there aren't many other options. The beer is mediocre. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have even posted a review but after the recent comments made by ownership at this brewery I can no longer support this establishment. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE. The new rule is that kids must remain at your table at all times. Stodgy, why don't you just come out and say you don't want kids in your brewery at all? Why would I even bring my kids somewhere they will not feel welcomed? Why make a blanket statement about peoples families instead of taking care of the problematic ones individually? If an adult came in and peed on something or was spilling your patrons beer how would you have handled that situation? You would have asked that individual to leave. Not create some new policy that alienates an entire customer base. Shame on you. Also, if you want to make a post like that on social media don't be a coward and turn off your...
Read moreWe hosted approximately 70 guests for a welcome party on the back patio of Stodgy Brewing on a busy Friday night before our wedding, and we would recommend this space to everyone! Natalie was so incredibly helpful at helping us book the space, fielded all of our questions leading up to the event, and met us that night to help ensure everything was set up. We not only got to have our guests appreciate all of Stodgy’s beers (which were complimented highly), but also had a nonalcoholic tab with their many options, which had all of our guests ecstatic (especially the homemade root beer). The patio itself is stunning and fit everyone easily in a private space, making the night so special. The Stodgy staff that night were also so welcoming and efficient—our guests were able to replenish their drinks within minutes. It was truly one of the best nights of our lives, and to have it at one of our favorite breweries in town made it even more special! Thank you to...
Read moreGreat place to visit if you're in Fort Collins.
We stopped by, and we're able to get a quick walk thru of the place as well as order a beer sampler in order to try several beers before ordering.
This is a great little micro brewery, with a lot of character. There is inside and outside seating. Several beers are on tap to try and indulge yourself in (just remember to drink responsibly), and they have non-alcoholic beer.
My favorite beer was the Wheat. It has a nice flavor for me.
Finally, if you are a root beer person. They have their own root beer made on premises. It is quite good and will measure up against the best of them (which is Dad's originally out of Chicago in 1937, now headquartered in Jasper, Indiana).
I hope if you're reading this you've decided to pay Stodgy's a visit. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I also hope your experience is as good as mine has been.
