Sneakers Eatery and Pub — Restaurant in Fort Dodge

I went here to celebrate the end of my fantasy football season and I was not let down! I only ordered a diet soda but my date ordered a Sex on the Beach which she said was phenomenal. The drinks arrived very quickly and the service was impeccable. They were having a special on 12 oz New York Strips so we ordered that with a shrimp skewer and our sides and let me tell you what! It was INCREDIBLE. I normally don't like Strips because alot of people don't know how to cook them so that the fat renders but this was cooked PERFECTLY. I ordered a medium rare and it came out exactly that, with the fat just ready to melt in your mouth. It was topped with a shrimp skewer and some delicious garlic butter and the whole meal was simply put, perfect. I enjoyed every last bit of steak and the texas toast was a delicious touch as well and I only paid 30 bucks for my entire experience! Absolutely stellar deal for an unforgettable steak dinner. Thanks so much to the Sneakers team for a great end to my fantasy football season.

UPDATE: I went back again this following week on 1/7/24 and they were still running the NY Strip deal. I ordered it the same as last week, medium rare with a shrimp skewer. It came with 2 sides (I chose fries and sweet potato fries) and texas toast and it was AMAZING yet again! The cooks they have there on the weekends are incredible! I HIGHLY recommend Sneakers...

I was told that my food take about 40 minutes to be ready. I waited 20 minutes to leave my place, which is 5 minutes away. I arrived at the "" restaurant”' and I had to wait for my order. And the servants all disappeared in the kitchen. And I was given my food after standing around for almost 10 minutes. The " head person came out and was rude and told me that I was late by 25 minutes. I explained to her that I was told that my food would be ready in 40 minutes not 20 minutes. Long story BAD PLACE TO GO IF YOU ARE NOT A REGULAR. MY food looked like it had been heated up extremely hot and then put in the freezer. I paid 40.00 for it. I love going to Sneakers! They have friendly staff, a lot of tables (and TVs) and delicious food!! They’re in a good location and it’s always fun there!! Last time we went I got the Kick ‘n’ Asian Salad and it was yummy! A bit of a “kick” to it with the asian chili sauce but so yummy! My sister got the Chicken Bacon Ranch salad and I wanted to eat hers too, it looked SO YUMMY! (I tried it, it was good!)

These were GOOD SIZED salads and I was able to eat half! Maybe because we ordered the Scatter Platter for an appetizer haha! Everything was delicious and next time I’m getting that Southwest Chicken Salad! Or wings, oh I don’t know it all sounds yummy!!
