I called yesterday evening and was going to stop by and pick up my order while I was heading into work. All I wanted was a sandwich (papadilla) which is what I’ve ordered several times before in the past. To my surprise this time, the person I was talking to on the phone said that a $10 minimum order is required, and since my order only came to $7 , I needed to order something else. I didn’t encounter this requirement before, and wished to speak to a manager. He wanted to know what the problem was, and I said I just needed to speak to a manager. He put me on hold and then came back and said that if I wanted, he could connect me with someone at the main office.
I then called tonight to talk to a manager and a lady answered this time. She kept asking what is the problem, and I told her that I needed to make a complaint but wanted to address it with a manager or supervisor. She then puts the same guy I talked to on the phone the night before. I’m not sure what’s going on over there, but it’s rather disturbing. Nobody seems to be in charge- and it seems odd that there’s a $10 requirement to place an order for pickup. Second time with terrible service, not only was their timing way off but I also paid a tip through Papa John's app which I'm not sure will go to actual driver seeing as they are having door dash deliver because they are short on drivers and if not Papa John's just got extra money for an already over priced single pepperoni pizza. Also when I was concerned looking for those simple inquirys to be answered they supposedly put me through to a manager who answered the phone by saying "who am I speaking to?!" I responded "hello? I'm sorry I was being transferred to a manager" to which she sharply replied "SPEAKING." Um okay cool even though I wasn't sure seeing as you didn't introduce yourself with a name stating who you are, she also didn't answer questions and was unapologetic to the fact it wasn't my fault y'all said delivery in 30 min and it's been an hour and a half. Hate your job?! Then find another one, you are in the service industry and should not disrespect people like that. Read moreI ordered online. Went to the store when the tracker said my order was ready for pick up. The clerk just stared at me. Never said hello. Just asked for my name. The order was not ready. My pizza box was sitting on the counter for 15 minutes opened. People making pizzas without gloves or hairnets. I ordered a veggie pizza and a cookie. Waited an additional 20 minutes. Asked if my order was ready after I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. The clerk still had to ask for them to make a cookie. I just asked for my pizza and left. Waisted $8.00 for nothing. The nerve for the site to ask for a tip when I’m coming into pick up my own order. Then have the order not completed. Trash! I’ve worked in every restaurant level and tier for 15 years. That was the worst experience I’ve ever had. From customer service to execution of order, TRASH! She offered me a drink. That was insulting. I want my $8.00 back.
