We have been going to this Cold Stone for two years once a week. Over the past 6 months or so this place has started to go downhill. Last night was the last chance I was giving them. Both the workers in the store were rude to me and the 7 people in front of me. They were complaining about their job, co-workers and made comments in front of us all for coming in close to closing and that “that’s what you get when you come in right before we close” referring to the wait and that only one of them was making ice cream. To top this all off the worker got both our ice creams wrong and gave us both the same mix in of Oreos when it wasn’t even remotely close to what we asked for. We will be driving into Fayetteville now just to get better service. Unacceptable
I worked at a Cold Stone for 3 years in High School from 2005-2007 in California. Our Cold Stone was the busiest in the country at that time and it closed at midnight. We never complained because we liked our job and the tips made up for the long nights when we wouldn’t get out till around 2:00AM sometimes. Cold Stone is a great place to work and is fun. Owners here need to look at who they have working there and who is managing and create a better culture. It can be a great learning experience for workers if they can buy into...
Read moreSo, I do appreciate for the willingness to fulfill our order even tho their was a mix up on times for us to pick up our ice cream (we ordered from the website for pick up). The gentleman who acknowledged us and gathered our order was nice. However, the female that worked there did not say anything when we walked in and stood at the, "online order" counter. She was closet to me and never acknowledged us as we stood there, didn't greet us didn't excuse the delay in service.. NOTHING. The busiest worker was the one that came over to make sure we were taken care of. Grant it, it was Sunday at 4:30p and it was busy. But to just take time out to say, Hey we will be with you shortly would have made a huge difference. We waited about 10 minutes before we were even spoken to. The only reason why we waited was because I had already paid for the ice cream. On another note, if you do order online I recommend you don't tip until after you receive your ice cream. I made that mistake of tipping before and well...... you read...
Read moreWe came in at 945 for our son's birthday, because our dinner ran later than expected, and we were approached at the counter and told they had already cleaned the counter where they prepare the specialty ice creams so we would only be able to get basic scoops and toppings or smoothies only. This ruined the birthday dessert my son was looking for all day. I understand cleaning up before closing, but if a customer comes in before the door is locked, you are supposed to take care of them and their order. I have worked in food and other businesses that service the public, yes it's frustrating because you want to go home, but it's your job and the hours were stated you are open til 1000. Not to mention, we were going to get our order to go. The cold stone in Fayetteville and hope mills have never been rude...
