01/23 Update: My husband tried going here again recently and he said the timing for getting his order has improved immensely!
We went here once and online orders took precidence to people standing in line. We waited over 5 minutes while online orders were made and 2 employees stood doing nothing by the cash register before we could order. We sat in the store to eat and people coming in after us were told they would have to wait 10 minutes before they could even order.
So we went back to going to the Tega Cay location which is much faster, hoping this location would eventually figure out the kinks since it just opened.
But today we decided to try it again with an online order. That was a mistake. Our order of 4 subs wasn't ready when we got there to pickup even though it was 14 minutes after the time they said it would be ready. And then we waited in the store another 22 minutes. So it was ready 36 minutes after the time they said online it would be. Even though this location is closer to our house than the Tega Cay one, it would have been faster to drive to Tega Cay and order and pickup and drive home. And that's what we plan to do in the future. We know this location is new, so hopefully they figure things out. But unless we have a lot of free time, we will be...
Read moreI was one of 6 people in line waiting for our online orders to be ready. Everyone who walked in was served first before they began working on the online orders.
Eventually, one of the online customers asked them how much longer it would take since their order was supposed to ready more than 20 minutes prior. One of the walk in customers said to take the online customers first since we were here before him. Finally the staff got to working on the online orders.
Online orders should not have less priority than walk-in customers. If you expect the store to be busy, then staff appropriately. If you can’t get enough people to staff appropriately, then you’re most likely not paying enough to attract workers. If you can’t afford to pay enough to be able to sufficiently staff the store, then maybe your business model isn’t viable.
Edit: I wrote this review while I was waiting on my food. I know have my order more than 30 minutes after it was supposed...
Read moreThis afternoon, I placed an online order. When I made it home, I realized that my order was not correct. I PAID for bacon to be added on my sub. I went back to Jersey Mike's and I told the female employee who was at the cash register that my order was wrong because I didn't receive the bacon. To my surprise, she didn't say I'm sorry for the inconvenience or let me correct the issue, she said, "what do you want from us?". So since she asked, let me tell you Jersey Mike's. It's very simple and basic customer service. As a customer, I would like my order to be correct. It's an inconvenience for me to have to return to the restaurant because my order was wrong. Also, this is the third time, that my online order was not correct. Secondly, I would like customers to be treated with courtesy and respect by Jersey Mike's employees.
Employees at this restaurant definitely need training on making orders and coaching on providing...
