Deep Down South BBQ — Restaurant in Fort Myers

First ima say , this my first time here.. I always see this truck, never stop, and today I decided to support. Got a wing dinner box. I was told 25 mins for the order and it was a little between 30-45 mins . I don't mind waiting for "good" soul food but to get my food and not enjoy it after waiting for so long, I wouldn't even go back a second time. Macaroni was sweet like as if sugar & milk was added & never in my life have I had sweet Mac anywhere. I don't care for the milk, if it was added , if so, it was a little too much ¿ I thought it was like regular macaroni, you know savory & cheesy, this Mac was more like sweet and running . I added hot sauce it didn't help at all . The chicken was well fried, I'm not a wet wing person so that's why I got regular fried . I would've maybe thought because it was regular fried , a little seasoning salt or any type of seasoning would've been better instead of a plain fried breaded wings. I also got fried okra and I can say you can't go wrong with that ! That was the best thing on my plate and I would go and get my money back or trade the Mac for a different side but I'll just take my "L" & not come back . Mac & cheese is literally my favorite dish ever in life , if was the last thing on earth to eat I wouldn't complain and to know they messed up macaroni and cheese as a black owned business & it was sweet, I'm highly disappointed. went awhile back and 30mins before closing I approached the bus to place my order and one of the ladies was having a conversation with the cook.After me saying excuse me twice she noticed me standing there and told me that they were closed with an attitude. I asked her what times they close and she gave me an answer of now (menu states otherwise but I am an understanding person). I say okay and proceed to walk back to my car when I hear the cook laughing about what just took place and him saying why did you lie to that lady like that. So the cook calls me back after im about halfway to my car and asks me what I wanted to order because they actually will be closing in 30mins.I let him know that I wasnt happy with the lady and I would take my money elsewhere.So after 3 months I decided to try it out again...the main lady taking orders was having a full blown conversation with the person in front of me after she had taken her order and there was also about 4 people behind me in line.Once she was finished she took my order with a slight attitude.I'm hungry and it wasnt as bad as my 1st experience so I brush it off.I order the wings which could have been seasoned more but the breading was perfect. Due to me having to deal with an attitude by the girl taking the orders I rather just not come back for a 3rd try. Bad attitudes do not do well with customer service.Hopefully down the line it will change because the business loses money before even experiencing the food on which I hear really good...

They have the most untrained, GHETTO ASS, staff ever!!!! I will never order there again. Listen, the short pig looking mid age Hispanic women, the white girl who tries to look black, and the black girl(well, she’s cool) are ALL UNPROFESSIONAL.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is great. However, usually when I buy anything anywhere, it’s a MUST that I receive great customer service since I work in customer service as well, and I understand great customer service is a must. But it’s like, the management here did not give one single flying f* with who he hired.

I have been a loyal customer for almost two to three years and I order at least once or twice a week for great food but SH%tty service but after today, I am DONE!

I will tell everyone I know to stop going there and stop supporting these people. As much of there is new black owned restaurants sprouting out in Fort Myers, I could EASILY go to them. But no, I support the red bus since they have great food and I usually love supporting small owner black businesses.

They will never receive my business nor receive any of my money. The owner is awesome by the way. As much as I ordered there, he has never been rude to me. However, I will never order from his rude ass uneducated, no edges, no future, no car having...
