I found this gem on the internet looking for a sushi spot. My family mentioned they go here to get their Hibachi so I said ok, let's do it. I was shocked at the food quality, and the service. I ordered, Kyoto Sushi roll, shrimp egg roll ($5.95- three comes as an appetizer), and crab Rangoon(6 as an appetizer). I believe they were short staffed this day as well but that did not stop the waitress/cashier, she was amazing. The shrimp egg roll is big and crunchy. The cabbage filling is cooked not raw and the shrimp are noticably big in size and taste. I could not believeth this! 😲👀 I can just order the egg roll and be full and satisfied. The Kyoto sushi roll was fresh, that's important. I would get it again. The crab rangoon was good as well, fresh... Everything was so good I ordered seconds of the shrimp egg roll and crab Rangoon for the kids back at the house. The quantity and quality is worth the money and they prices are reasonable. For all that I ordered, I paid only $40+, that includes the second round of appetizers. I had to tip the waitress.
We went back again a week later as all of us were gawking over the shrimp egg rolls.🤩. This time we ordered for pick up. I ordered a bento box with fried rice, shrimp, shrimp egg roll and miso soup($14.95). My aunt ordered a bento box with added crab Rangoon and shrimp egg rolls. The food was packaged neatly and separated per order, impressive. The food was hot and really good. There was enough of the entree in each bento box for two people. The vegetables and rice was fresh. The miso soup did its job for me as I was a little under the weather.
It's a 5⭐ for me. The location is perfect. The outside area is clean and the inside is small but clean and smell good. The decor is nice as well. The service was amazing both times. Check them out and see...
Read moreTook my dad here for his birthday. It was quite warm/hot. AC was probably not working. What bothered me the most was the service. Woman upfront seemed annoyed we came in and wanted to eat in. She gave us a to go menu and left. We said we wanted to eat in. She proceeded to give us everything to go. Plastic silverware to go, stryrofoam containers, etc. We’ve been here previous times before, not in a while. Definitely gone downhill since we’ve eaten here. Disappointing as we are Japanese and I was hoping to treat my father for his birthday. This used to be his favorite spot. It’s a 5:30 on a Thursday with nobody in here, it’s not busy at all nor do they close anytime soon. We were charged an extra $3-4 for a side of soup and salad, that which already comes with the hibachi meal. She initially wanted to argue that she didn’t charge us for it but it was apparent on the receipt and they fixed it. Food was average, but honestly mediocre for the price. The only reason I give it an extra star (2 star review) is because of the good portions, but again everything was to go and in plastic. Regardless terrible experience. Never coming here again. I don’t know what happened to this place since we last ate here. It really has gone downhill. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, especially those whom are a fan of...
Read moreThis place was okay to get food to go but if your planning on eating here I wouldn't recommend. Im pregnant and I decided to eat here alone for a quick craving lunch. When I walked in nobody said anything to me so I sat down and waited to get served. Nobody served me so I went up to the register and ordered IN. I made it clear I was eating at the restaurant. They got my order wrong. MIND YOU all I ordered was a Avocado salad with GINGER dressing and a California roll with a seaweed salad. Yum yum sause on the side. They brought out my food in plastic containers without lids (maybe so they didn't have to wash dishes???) That was unexpected..... anyway nobody waited on me and I had to get up multiple times to ask for things and get my own drink. Again IM PREGNANT lmaoo idk the whole experience was just not what youd expected for a DINE IN RESTAURANT. Food was average nothing special. I won't be...
