We live nearby and thought we'd give this revamped restaurant another try after visiting previous versions of the restaurants that were in this space, sadly this was a disappointment. The menu looked like it had some wonderful options of great Italian dishes. Lasagna, pasta dishes, saltimbocca, etc. We started off with an antipasto salad split between the two of us and an order of bruschetta (which you are told on the menu of how to pronounce it correctly) tasted good but it was soggy. We also ordered a bottle of wine. The waitress came back with the bottle of wine and two glasses and just ploped then down and left. Luckily she cracked the screw top for me! The salad arrived and unfortunately it was the best thing we had for the rest of dinner. We purposely ordered slow based on the inexperienced waitress and didn't want our dinner stacked on top of our salad/app. So we order dinner and I asked about the branzino, menu said two fillets with side of vegetable and served with butter sauce. Checked to make sure they had it which they said they did. $32 seeemed reasonable if not a little expensive for two branzino fillets but i decided to try it with green beans. Dinner arrives and it's a small plate with a small filet and what looked like canned green beans. When it was served I asked about just one fillet they said that the menu was incorrect and that they did that when the fillets were "smaller" want told this when I asked. Told staff, ok lesson learned. Fish was very tasty with butter sauce, Green beans were soggy and not canned but just overcooked from frozen apparently. But the plate itself was no where near worth the $32 they were charging. Then when we were finished eating, the inexperienced waitress comes over with her electronics check device and tells me the bill is $** out loud and asked if it was cash or check!?!?? I looked at her like what?!?! She leaves the table to go find the owner. He comes over, ask if there was an issue and I explained to him the issue with my dish and her announcing how much my check was. He said "Sorry, come back I'll get you next time"? Sorry buddy I'll pay for this and never...
Read morei ordered a lunch special and did not know i wasn’t allowed to eat in the restaurant because it was a “cheap” meal. i told the owner “okay” when asked to leave. when another customer asked if there was anyway to accommodate for me to eat there, the owner then gave me full attitude and anger even though the only word out of my mouth was “okay.” as i was walking out of the restaurant he followed up with “you definitely wont be eating here.” and aggressively handling the sign outside the door. i highly do not recommend this place. i’ve been nothing but nice and respectful the times i’ve been there. this is the second time i’ve been, both times the food wasn’t good at all. the first time i thought maybe it was just that specific order i didn’t like. after this second time, with a different order tasting disgusting and the owner treating me disgustingly, i will definitely not be back and suggest anyone & everyone to...
Read moreAte at this restaurant For the first time Saturday evening, when we arrived, there weren’t many guest we had absolutely horrible service. It took two hours for hour meals to come out. they served us bread that was stale when the meal came out, my wife had lasagna that was cold in the middle and not very flavorful. I had chicken Parmesan that was extremely greasy. The pasta was cut into little tiny pieces what there was of it anyway, and was so overcooked it was like mashed potatoes, I mentioned something to the waiter and he said they are still learning didn’t offer any solutions at all after the bill came to the table. I paid it, and then the owner came out and asked how the food was along with a concerned waitress. I said it was terrible. I said the food was terrible, and they made nothing but excuses I do not recommend this restaurant at all not to mention it’s rather pricey for...
