The worst....I'm not sure why the location owner pays the franchise fee for LJS...the staff sure don't care for that side (seem happy enough with the Taco Bell side...). I haven't gone there in about a year because 2 visits back then were both negative....staff said 7pm too late to cook fish, other visit was earlier, but took forever to get food (like they couldn't drop the fish in fryer while making tacos). They have NEVER accepted any of the coupons from the website and emails. Cannot order online, which is another source of marketing coupons, and they will not redeem in person. Ordering online might help with the wait too... I was finally ready to venture back to Long John Silvers, so I did...on May 12. There was some sort of higher management team there to resolve some sort of conflict... The person taking my order actually made me feel welcome - honestly not sure I have felt that in this location before! She was maybe 40-45 years old, friendly personality. I felt welcome enough that I went back on May 17th. She wasn't there, a young girl was at the register and I asked her if they would redeem a coupon I'd received via email. She walked off, came back after several minutes with a manager or other staff person, he said "NO". I looked at the girl and said "you could have told me "no" instead of leaving me here that long - I'm on a 30 minute lunch break". She replied, in a pretty snarky tone..."How about, it's my first day and I don't know". I get it, first day might not have the answers, but no need to be snarky and insulting - you're the one behind the register...just tell me it's your first day and you've got to ask someone. I ordered, then sat down. I saw many orders handed out, not mine. I went to counter & asked. They didn't have the ticket...I showed my copy, they finally started cooking my 8 piece meal (was taking some home for later). I had to grab the container and head back, eating in the car to avoid being late....and I only work 1/4 mile away on same side of the plaza. Not only do they not care about there customers but when they give you the wrong order they will argue with you that you didn't order it that way, even though you're receipt says you did. when you show them they tell you to bad .that was the first experience and I said I would never go back, but the wife had a taste for there hushpuppys tonight so she asked me to please go get her some. So as a good husband I did I walked into the restaurant at 8:01pm on a Saturday night and tried to order but I was told that they closed that side at 8pm. Look I'm not dumb you don't close, clean, and have all of your employees out of the restaurant in 1 minute. I asked for a manager and was told that they closed at 8pm even though there website says that they are open until 10PM on a Saturday night. Read moreTerrible! To save some of you some time, THE LJS PART OF THIS PLACE IS CLOSED! No signs no warnings. They never answer the phone, my orders are always wrong and the food doesn’t taste very fresh. Old oil? I’ve given this place chance after chance as they are my closest location and I do get a craving for LJS every now and then but after last night I am done. First I called 5 times to ask if the LJS was open, no answer. Then went ahead and went over and waited in a line of about 15 cars for about 15-20 minutes ( would have gone in but the dining room was completely packed with people waiting in line) only to be told that the LJS is closed at this time. POST A SIGN OR SOMETHING OR MAYBE ANSWER THE PHONE. I was then trapped in that line for An additional 10 minutes because the drive through is so tight. TO THE OWNER, Look either get this location together or close it. It is a poor excuse for a Taco Bell / Long John Silver.
