This restaurant lives up to the attention it deserves. The food was tasty. However, the MSG was heavy. It's hard to find a commercial Vietnamese restaurant that doesn't heavily rely on MSG to bring out the flavor in their products so that's no surprise there. The beef was definitely top notch though! I had the "Bo Kho" rice noodles with beef soup. The boba tea could have used less sugar as it was saturated enough to leave a small concentration of sugar granulates. It is located at a busy intersection on 6 Mile Cypress in Fort Myers in competition with several other popular businesses. The price is the average going rate as far as Vietnamese cuisine goes in the state of Florida. The portions for the food are just right and the condiments for them are plentiful. We had a miscommunication issue with ordering our food, but it was rectified swiftly with no problems whatsoever. At the time of writing this review, the front door hydraulic hinge is broken. This makes the door slam very audible from the constant foot traffic. The restaurant has a very simple and plain appearance with limited seating. The restaurant maintained a clean appearance throughout our stay. On a positive note, the employees are all very friendly here.

This is the second time that we've ordered from Banh mi & Tea in Fort Myers. If you're looking to try Vietnamese food, check them out. It's definitely worth it. We got the egg rolls, which are made with ground pork, carrot, taro, cabbage seasoning, wrap in egg roll shell, and deep fried. Great for a starter. Tried something new this time. Vietnamese baguette style sandwich filled with pickled daikon and carrots, pate mayo, lettuce, cucumber, cilantro, jalapenos, and Vietnamese Meatball Xiu Mai. Vietnamese Meatball Xiu Mai is a pork meatball. Tons of flavor. My favorite by far are the steamed bao buns. Soft fluffy steam bun, lettuce, daikon carrot pickled, cilantro, jalapenos, drizzle mayo yum sauce, and chicken. The bao buns are light and easy to eat. The veggies are crispy and have a really great bite, which balances out the flavor of the chicken and bao buns. I recommend to try the bao if you're looking to step into something new. I have included pictures that I took of the bao buns.

vegetarian AND vegan bao buns & spring rolls available from Bahn mi & Tea fort myers, FL off colonial and six mile. the yum yum sauce makes it vegetarian, must order without to make it vegan and I would maybe suggest calling the restaurant bc they accidentally still put the sauce in mine (vegan sauce options: ask for house-made peanut sauce; or sriracha or hoisin in packets). yes, the buns are vegan! I spoke with the owners who are looking into offering a vegan yum yum sauce now! :))) this would make SO many people happy here. it was p good for $15…it did satiate my need for bao buns which i would prob not go out of my way to cook myself. the tofu was nicely curried! 3.5⭐️⭐️⭐️s, rounded up there

Glad there’s a Vietnamese and boba place not too far!

Banh mi’s were good, just wish the bread was toasted more so it’s crispy- would order again. It would be good for customers to know that there is a pork-based spread that comes on them, even if your order a different meat like chicken or beef, so keep that in mind if you have dietary preferences.

The popcorn chicken was a bit of a miss, I really love this Taiwanese snack but something was off with this execution. Not enough Chinese 5 spice seasoning and chili powder, and the texture of the chicken was kind of horrible, its was dry, chewy and stringy.

We wondered if they were using frozen chicken pieces or something, because how do you mess up chicken? We’re not sure, but I bet if they followed the original recipe, it would be delicious, something was jacked up in the production of this order of them. A plus though was that the order came with some pickled veggies and cilantro and dipping sauce which was nice . What wasn’t nice was the $12.99 charge for the order, it definitely wasn’t worth it. It’s something boba shops back in CA and TX would charge $4-6, so this was a surprise (though they give a big portion here, it’s just not edible with how hard and dry it is). I really hope they fix this because I will definitely order it if they make it properly .

The drinks weren’t bad, but not awesome. For the price, they were quite small, smaller than average.

The egg rolls/ fried spring rolls were nice and crispy, but the filling was just ok. Again, would be nice if they had a non-pork option like ground chicken instead, and more flavorful filling. The sweet and sour sauce was not what I had hoped for, I was looking for nuoc cham since it is a Vietnamese place, it would be awesome if they had that instead as that is delicious. Love me some of that combo.

The shrimp spring rolls were good, and my kiddo loves the peanut sauce it comes with, so that was great too.

They are always very friendly and nice on the phone (almost everyone that’s answered so far), but not as hospitable/upbeat at the counter. There’s usually two of them hanging out working and it always feels a bit awkward when I order there or pick up the order.

We’ve eaten there several times, and will order some other items to enjoy the next time. Please fix the popcorn chicken and make the egg rolls Vietnamese imperial style with that fish sauce dipping mix and I’ll be your...

Bahn Mi Tea in Estero offers a casual yet delightful culinary escape for those seeking authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Known for its laid-back atmosphere and friendly service, this restaurant focuses on delivering top-notch food without the frills, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal.

During my visit, I opted for the ribeye and meatball pho, a choice that turned out to be nothing short of exceptional. The broth, the heart and soul of pho, was impeccably crafted. Clear and rich, it presented a harmonious blend of flavors with just the right balance of spices—star anise, cloves, and cinnamon—creating a savory and aromatic base that was both comforting and complex.

The ribeye slices were tender and succulent, offering a delightful contrast to the firm and flavorful meatballs. The quality of the beef was evident, adding a luxurious touch to the dish. Each bite of ribeye melted in my mouth, while the meatballs provided a hearty, satisfying chew that complemented the broth perfectly.

The noodles were cooked to perfection, maintaining a pleasing texture that held up well in the broth. Accompanied by the customary fresh herbs—Thai basil, cilantro, and scallions—as well as lime wedges and sliced jalapeños, diners can personalize their pho to enhance the already vibrant flavors. The freshness of these accompaniments added a bright, refreshing note to each spoonful.

Service at Bahn Mi Tea was prompt and courteous. The staff were eager to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable, offering helpful suggestions and checking in regularly without being intrusive. Their attentiveness contributed to a pleasant and seamless meal.

Bahn Mi Tea in Estero delivers a pho experience that is both authentic and thoroughly satisfying. The ribeye and meatball pho stood out for its impeccable broth, high-quality ingredients, and perfect execution. Combined with the restaurant's casual and welcoming ambiance, it’s a must-visit for anyone in the area looking to enjoy a bowl of expertly crafted pho. Whether you're a seasoned pho aficionado or new to Vietnamese cuisine, Bahn Mi Tea offers a delightful and memorable...

First a foremost this is my first time here so I didn't know what to expect. I placed my order online and Wow so easy and super detailed. I made some notes on my order and to my surprise the young lady call to confirm them instead of just assuming I love that. I love that they are detail oriented in that way. I got there before my order was done and I the communication from the young lady was A1. The atmosphere and vibe inside was beautiful, clean and detail oriented as well. The young ladies were so kind and made me feel so cared for and were so attentive. Now the food. The fried egg bahi OMG soo delish and the veggies so fresh. The bread was so fresh. Soft on the inside with a cruch on the outside. The egg was cook to perfection. I also ordered the Pho ribeye and Meatball, I would have liked to have more Ribeye the portion is small but overall the flavor, the quality of veggies were fantastic. For a drink I ordered the Thai Milk Tea it was good aswell I was happy that they made that be the last thing prepared for my pick order. The pick up order itself was easy and package perfectly. I feel the price for the quality and quantity of the food was great and reasonable. The young lady that have some beautiful and unique names should definitely be recognized they did a wonderful job from start to end....
