Today, my fiancé and I placed separate orders through the Wendy’s app. Simple orders, kids meals, some nuggets and fries. Nothing extraordinary, both similar orders. We places said orders at about 5pm. We went inside the store at 5:15 (the pickup time in the app) and weren’t greeted, weren’t acknowledged or helped. We watched customers come in and place direct orders and leave with their food. We began to get irritated. Finally, my fiancé spoke up and asked where our order was, why we hadn’t been helped yet. Not even spoken to, though we were standing at the mobile pickup for nearly 10 minutes at this point. The woman replied “oh. Here is your order on the screen”
Okay, awesome! Acknowledged, right? Wrong. We stood there for ANOTHER 15 minutes before my fiancé spoke up again. He asked if she knew when it would be ready. The woman said “I don’t know”. Forty total minutes and no food. We asked for a refund, to which she replied “contact Wendy’s”. So, here I am. In the review section.
We ended up leaving without our food. We had a job to get to, so we left empty handed and empty pocketed because she refused to refund.
I TRIED to contact support via the phone and app(text) but was left waiting with...
Read moreI am a 4th generation Ft. Pierce, FL Cracker. I just stopped here with my husband to grab a bite. I noticed a very short gentleman assembling sandwiches. I also happened to notice that people were tapping him prior to speaking. I realized when he was handling our order he put our 1 Jr. Bacon CB with ketchup only into a bag and handed to the cashier to let him know that was the "special order". The cashier nodded and walked away. The gent that assemebled our burgers watched as the kid grabbed the bag he had just specified was a special order and almost handed to another person. He immediately started shaking his head, walked to the cashier with our ticket in hand and made a motion like, this bag is this order. Pay attention. It was then I walked up and signed to him, "Thank you! Thank you! You're the best!" He was a bit surprised and asked where I learned ASL. I told him it was in high school, quite a while back. We had a quick conversation and I left. I felt kinda bad for him. He is really on his game. He could be doing great things in a real kitchen. (I apologize for not catching your name. Best of luck...
Read moreI pull up to the window, and the woman says, "Welcome to Wendys. I prefer a #7. She says, "Is that all?" I say, "Yeah, can I have a caramel frosty brew?" She repeats the order. I say, "That's it." Nothing after that. No pull to the window, no total. I just assumed I pulled to the second window since there was silence. I pull up. She knocks the 'coffee' into the side of the window and breaks the cup. Coffee everywhere. She turns back to the counter, dumps the rest in a new cup, and hands it to me. Sticks her now coffee covered hand out the window for my card. Still, nothing said since she repeated my order at the window. I grab my 'coffee', hand her my card, and hand it back to me, then my food. And still nothing said. The whole point of a drive-thru is convenience. I couldn't even drink this Wendys creamer. I had to come home and add a little bit at a time to my coffee at home. I also had to reheat my breakfast at home. It's literally Wendy's watery, iced creamer. The review asks how much I spent... I don't even know because she was so...
