Tassanee's Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Fort Smith

Great selection of food and wonderful price to boot. A little skeptical at first as I kinda consider myself "picky" when it comes to Thai food. Good taste and just the right amount of spice for what I ordered. Calling in the order was pretty easy. The man on the phone was no frills and straight to the point on what you wanted to order.

The portion sizes were nice and the quality was very good. They made it as authentic as possible so do expect some spice to head your way. As I am typing this I am enjoying everything I ordered and they will get my business again.

The real positive I have to add is the pick up. It is a weird time we live in so most places can be a bit odd when it comes to picking up your order. Everything was hot, and fresh just like came out of the kitchen and I admit I was a little behind on picking up my order. The transaction was seamless and I was able to walk up to the window, say the name on the order and take everything I ordered home in a nice little box and head on my way.

We walked in just at the restaurant’s afternoon closing time. The hours posted on Yelp are incorrect. A common problem with Yelp. Anway, the owner said his wife was about to leave for the afternoon, but if we would hurry with our selection, she would gladly prepare our meals. Pineapple fried rice for my wife with seafood $19.49 and Basil Stir fry for me with chicken add a couple of fried eggs $15.99. Both absolutely superb, excellent delicious meals. Generous plates of food. The flavors and freshness, amazing. The pictures tell the story.

Even though it was well after closing the friendly owner cheerfully kept us company with conversation as we finished our meals. The restaurant is clean and has a cozy comfortable ambiance from the old building it occupies. Parking is very limited. Park across the street.

Great food and super friendly owners....

This is a little hidden Thai gem in the middle of Fort Smith. First off, the owners and the cooks are actually from Thailand, so their food is authentic. Secondly, they have hands down the best Thai food in Fort Smith. The food is full of flavor. The "Fish Delight" is soooooo flavorful, yummy, and healthy. The Pad See Ew is one of the best dishes that I've ever had at any restaurant, and I've lived at many places. The crab Rangoon is also the best in the area. Lastly, their customer service is great! Justin, the server, is very personable, friendly, and very hard working. Gotta appreciate a very good, clean, authentic restaurant in a town where there are many restaurants. Tassanees is hands down the best Thai restaurant...
