Astonishing Good Vietnamese food! The three beautifully prepared and delicious dishes we had were: #136 Saigon Style Spring rolls, #60 Bun Bi and #64 Bun Bo Hue. I have tried a many Vietnamese restaurants and dishes and two things always turned me off the food compared to other Asian cuisine, one it is usually bland and two, I can’t stand the taste of fish sauce. Well this restaurant converted me. If you try the Bun Bo Hue you will throw rocks at that Pho stuff. The Bun Bo Hue is over the top flavorful and has a pleasant amount of heat. If you add the accompanying herbs, lime, jalapenos and it goes to astonishingly good! The Saigon Style Spring rolls were different and better than any I have ever had, especially with the dipping sauce. My wife had the Bun Bi her favorite dish (that she always orders, so she has plenty of others to compare against). Her opinion was, it the best she has ever had! The menu is huge and includes Banh Mi! Ok, so here is what you have to get past to eat here. The restaurant is in a dilapidated old former gas station. It looks pretty rough on the outside and it is not too much better on the inside. The service is a little slow. It is a mom and pop run place. The owners work to keep it clean. If you are looking for ambiance or a bright shiny chain restaurant experience you will be disappointed. But, the food, will more than make up for the appearance of the building. It is excellent!

Small restaurant in an old gas station, that's kinda neat, the inside is dated and faded and not for looks but was clean and comfortable. They brought hot tea when we first sat, a lovely touch that reminded me of when most Asian restaurants would. The elderly male server was nice and order was accurate. The rice dish was decent according to my husband, he doesn't eat pho. My son and I do though and have had it all throughout ATL (awesome area for it because there are large mixed ethnic population and food there in general) and TN dozens of places and this is the second time we have come across a sweet broth for beef pho. It's a little off putting when you aren't expecting it, it could be a regional Vietnamese thing to do so just know if you eat pho all over that the broth is a little sweet... It was still good and we ate it all just prefer it savory only. Speaking of savory, the cream cheese egg roll things were savory, peppery and delicious, not like anything we'd had before but we would get it again. They brought a little dish of banana and peanut with maybe coconut in a sweet syrup at the end that was also a lovely touch and tasted refreshing and sweet.

Here's a review incorporating your observations: A Mixed Bag: Amazing Flavors, Concerning Hygiene This small, unassuming establishment, seemingly run by an elderly couple, truly impressed me with its amazing flavors. Every dish I tried was a testament to their culinary skill, and it's clear they put a lot of love into their food. For such a small operation, they're doing remarkably well on the taste front, easily standing out in that regard. However, I left with some significant concerns about hygiene. The teapot, unfortunately, was rusted, which is not only unappealing but also raises questions about cleanliness. Even more troubling was finding mold in the ice. These are not minor issues and really detracted from an otherwise delightful culinary experience. While the food alone makes me want to recommend this place, the hygienic shortcomings are hard to overlook. If these issues were addressed, this spot would easily be a five-star gem.

  • Check my photos for a nice legible menu*

First of all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. Definitely go!! The food is excellent! Now for details. My girlfriend and I went there on Sunday July 6th...2025 during the early afternoon. It was our first time so we just followed navigation app directions. We were a bit surprised to see it seemed to be set up in what must have once been a gas station...or so it appeared to us. Hey...the atmosphere isn't the best, but we were there for the food. We were warmly greeted and seated. To be honest, the table had a tacky feel to it...did not feel clean, but that doesn't mean it wasn't. We think we may know why and I'll discuss that later. Anyway, we received the menu....and WOW...their menu is EXTENSIVE!!!!...crazy extensive! My family used to own a restaurant in East Texas and I know menus and I can confirm this is the most extensive menu I've EVER laid eyes on. So, we ended up ordering water, Special Steamed Rice Flour Crepes with Beef (#23), Combo Fried Rice with Chinese Sausage (#49) and a Seasoned Pork Meatball Bahn Mi Sandwich (#79). We quickly received our waters and some hot tea in a very hot serving kettle...and I do mean HOT. We think the heat from the kettle had melted the top of the table over time thus making it a bit tacky feeling. The tea was wonderful! The presentation of each dish was superb...making it even more appetizing. The Banh Mi was out of this world awesome!!! The Combo Fried Rice was very very good! And....the crepe dish was amazing as well. Photos attached. We both shared and tried each other's dishes and we both agreed...WE WILL BE BACK!!! THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! Towards the end of the meal, we were presented a very nice banana dessert dish...and guess what?....yep...so good! It was just the right amount of sweet. So, is the atmosphere the best? No, but depends on what you're looking for. The service was a bit slow, but honestly...it was okay. The food???? AMAZING

UPDATE: August 15th...2025. My girlfriend and I have started coming hear atleast once a week now and we are always so pleased with everything served. We just tried #124...the Combination Lo Mein. Oh My God....so so good. We both agreed this was one of the best dishes we have ever tried....

For one is disgusting. Roaches in water!!! Like what!! A lot of you rave about this place and after my experience today, I will not be back and I hope you all make sure to check your receipts. This is also why established businesses need to have itemized receipts!!! Went to eat at PHO Vietnam today, food took way to long to come out, especially for pho. Asked for sugar, asked for napkins, never received it. Seafood pho was not very good, the shrimp was literlly mush when I bit into it. Go to pay and I’m given a total of $53 and some change from my understanding (what I heard), I hand the gentleman my card, and it only ran $45.53 (I was using my cash app card and had to add more money to it, so I did) the lady comes back and runs my card for $20… so I’m confused at this point because my total was $53… she preceded to tell me it “needed to be even” like what?? So I tell her again, that’s $65.53 for a meal that was $53 and some change? She starts screaming at me and my friend as she’s pressing buttons on the machine, so we take it upon ourselves to add up what we ordered. They tried to up charge our pho bowls to large when we did not ask. Change is for a full order of dumpings when they only brought us two. So we get to a total, 52.50… and she’s still telling me that’s not right(while yelling at me). She then gets a total of $57.. and says she has to charge me $2 for card fee (WHICH is not posted anywhere in the establishment), so $59.00… she then says she’ll have to recharge my card and then cancel the first two.. I said no, keep what you charged me and give me the difference in cash so I was handed back $6.04. For allll that hassle and the food and service. I won’t ever go back. I did not appreciate being talked//yelled at as if I were the problem for wondering where my money was going, and this was my first time trying this place! Very very disappointed. And mind y’all I spent that on 2 people and a toddler. *the do not...
