Much as everyone else is mentioning lately this place is really going down hill. I have been a customer at this location off and on for the last 4-5 years. It has went from one of the better KFC restaurants to one of the worst by far.
Today I stopped in at around 2PM for lunch and had the displeasure of working with a cashier by the name of Corian. First off only one person was in line in front of me when I arrived and yet it took almost 10 minutes for them to take my order. Second (as others mentioned) the restaurant was filthy.
After finally paying for my meal, I advanced to the buffet line. Once in the buffet line I realized that most items were either very old or completely picked apart. Less than 3 total pieces of chicken where on the buffet. I tried getting the attention of the closest employee near me who was at the front window. After several attempts and standing alone at the buffet for 5 more minutes Corian saw me standing there and mentioned that he knew the buffet needed attention. I responded to him telling him that yeah, this has become a problem lately as it had been my third visit in a row where I had this experience. Corbin's response to me was "they are short staffed as I can see" as be began to flail his arms around.
After his response I told him that his management team needs to do a better job staffing at lunch hours because this is also my third visit in a row where that excuse was given. His response to me....."well if you think you can do better you can fill out a job application. I have some right here". At this point I had enough and asked to speak with management. At which point I find out the manager is the woman that was standing at the drive thru window that I previously tried to speak to. She then proceeded to make me wait several more minutes before speaking with me.
When the manager finally arrived she immediately took a stand offish approach towards my complaint. I repeated what happened with Corian. When he over heard it be began yelling at me from the cash register and mumbling under his breath towards me. He even walked up next to the manager and repeated exactly what he said! The manager didn't ask him to stop, she didn't even address him. Her only response to me was "well.....sorry". I then asked for the district managers number and was told she would have to go get it from her cell phone. She then started helping customers at the window again instead of providing me with the requested number. I called their corporate offices from the dining room to file a complaint.
Completely unacceptable behavior and service from the staff at this location. The restaurant has turned into a dump. I will not...
Read moreI never had a bad experience by coming here and getting food in all the years I've been coming here and I've been coming here for many many years just say maybe 20 years and it took them forever to even ask me for my order when I stood in that store having a conversation with someone right at the counter but they came and served everybody else that was already there and then people that came after me I just sit back and watch them they took their sweet time as well so I had to actually call them over to say hey here I am can I order and it was actually the one that was over in the Drive-Thru window with the headset on when she finally came over to me when it wasn't even her job to do it when they had someone to already work the counter and I seen people come in there and wait after me for a long time and leave because they took too long I'm talking about waiting their 10 minutes and they didn't even address them and knew they were in the store because they have an alarm and cameras and I stood there for 30-40 minutes before I got my order and then when I finally got my order when they act like they didn't talk but just among themselves they mess up the order and I have to come back in and left out my soda that came with the meal and then I had to wait about another 5 minutes for that it's ridiculous I would say if you go hear let them know hurry up with my order I'm not going to wait half an hour or so like y'all usually do or don't go here at all because it was messed up if you don't want to do your job quit your job ain't nobody making you do a job this is not slavery okay you pick your job's a job does not pick you you do not live in China or Russia somewhere or North Korea so you have a choice here it's called America with American values and if you don't like it you can go find somewhere else to be your don't work at all we don't care cuz the world in the stress of the Americas going to go on without you and the manager should know better really should this is just shameful so I shame you all right here in public of the world get your stuff together before you won't have a business to worry about so sad this is that you hold people hostage for your half baked chicken and biscuits you better get a grip before people really...
Read moreI usually go to the KFC off of State (which I've never had a complaint about). However, while at the Covington store there's nothing that I can say that is positive. I arrived at 10:30, when the store opens and attempted drive thru. I waited 5 minutes with a car behind me with no service. I pulled around the building to the window. I tried to call inside to make sure that they were open but nobody answered (the other car that was behind me is still waiting at the speaker for service). Eventually the other car that was behind me also came to the window where an employee finally came and said that their computers were down but we could go inside for service. For me, the first thing that they did wrong here was that it took so long for someone to acknowledge the customers in the drive thru (at this point it has been longer than 10 minutes). I understand things happen but you shouldn't ignore customers. So me and the other drive thru gentleman went inside. The issues I faced in here was that soda machine had what looks like mold spots around the ice dispenser. The trash cans has old food residue on the outside. And the space between the soda machine and the area where you get lids/straws also had dirt and what also looked like mold. To top everything off, the employees also forgot to serve me in order. Another customer that was dining it got his food before me. Through I did overhear one employee tell the other that the carry out was supposed to come first and then pointed at me.
