Funcity Adventure Park — Local services in Fort Wayne

My daughter had her 7th birthday here today on august 16. We didn’t have as good as an experience as we did with my son’s part on April 26th. We rented out a room both times. Our party attendant we had the first time was amazing. She was attentive she did everything for us without being asked. I brought a bag full of stuff and she in packed everything for us. This time was the opposite. I did everything including clean up. Actually, my mom and other family members cleaned up while I was out with the kids. Yea she asked if we need help but I mean we were already doing the work. Also, she was off cleaning other rooms when we needed her to stay to check in the party guests so that they could get as much jump time as they could some of them didn’t check in until like 30 minutes into the party because we had a hard time tracking her down although that was also the same issue we had the first time around. Finally she left the rest of the wrist bands and socks with us. Also we only get so many wristbands. Parents with younger children were told they had to have a wb to go out with their toddler. Thankfully there was extra wristbands. We spent 380 dollars. I’m sorry but this time around, it was not work it. Back in a April I would’ve said yes. But honestly, I don’t think we will another birthday...

The space is large and has a lot of play features. I followed my 2 yr old around and walked with him on the trampoline and got yelled at for my socks. While my 2 yr old jumped. Then got asked about my child’s time sticker that was on his back ( because what 2 yr old isn’t going to pick it off his shirt)and when I tried to tell him he has it on the gentleman that was working up front started to get argumentative that he didn’t. But if he took his air pods out he might be able to hear people. Then while a friend and there child were playing soccer in the soccer court he yelled at them for their socks. Even though it says nothing about that area. All the while 2 kids were fighting by the dodgeball area. Which I had to tell him to pay attention and go de-escalate that as the parents started to get into it. The kids enjoyed the hour but I feel I’d rather go to the other place in town. The kids can’t try to walk out the doors the front area always is magnetically locked and just feels all around more safe for the kiddos...

Kids had a blast celebrating my son's birthday. The facility was nice and clean, lots of stuff for the kids to do. We booked a party room and arrived early like we were told. Pizza that we ordered IN ADVANCE did not arrive until after our first hour was over. Then our 3 other pizzas we also ordered in advance were late. Just an FYI, they order the pizzas from Papa John's down the street. Had I known that, I would have ordered them myself and picked up and brought in for WAY cheaper. When I went to pay and asked if we could have a discount for the tardiness on the pizzas, they claimed they discounted two of the pizzas. They also claimed it was Papa John's fault. The receipt did not reflect the discount/comp. One last thing, we were supposed to have a party host per our booking agreement, but did not. I'm not usually one to leave a negative review, but overall I was not happy with that part of our experience. Definitely need better...
