We had placed a large takeout order for our vow renewal, and we were beyond disappointed with the service we received. We placed the order 30 days in advance, called the night before, and confirmed that they had the order and it would be ready at 3PM. At 3:30, our catering support arrived to pick up the food, and Zianos claimed they had no such order, the food was not started. The food was not ready until after 5PM - two hours late for our event - and the manager that was there told my caterer they wanted to offer a gift card or refund for the inconvenience, and that they would call me to set that up. We received the food, but the order was wrong - we had asked for some dish modifications (IE, vegetables with no sauce, just steamed, requested garlic fettucini instead of regular fettucini ) that we did not get, some of the food was not provided (missing one full pan of pasta, only provided half of the breadstick sauces that we ordered, missing orders of protein) and we had to scramble to get serving spoons etc. that we had included in the order but were not provided. Additionally, the food was not packed properly and the sauces spilled out of the pans and into the transportation vehicle, leaving pasta with no sauce and a huge mess that should have been avoidable - this was for pasta primavera with a white wine sauce, but it honestly seemed like just "mushroom water" and there must have been holes in the bottom of the pans because there was no liquid in the pan, just in the bag and all over the transport vehichle (where the pans were stacked flat). The following week, I followed up with a manager, Brittany, to share my experience. She stated that she needed to escalate this to the regional manager, and would call me back. I never received a call back. I tried to call again but my call was not answered. It's now been three weeks since my event and not a word from them.
I would not recommend that anyone use them for large takeout/catering, and don't expect any level of customer service from their management team, who are not able to even return a phone call or follow through on THEIR promise to make this right (before I...
Read moreThe air conditioning was extremely cold. We said something to our waitress Kamiyah and she replied that she had already told the manager because another customer had also complained. When our food arrived (Spaghetti & meatballs) the spaghetti sauce was so salty tasting I ask my friend how her spaghetti was & she said it's kind of salty. I said that's what I thought. Our meatballs were fine but Neither of us could eat the spaghetti. We were so thirsty & not once except when we were waiting for our waitress to come by to get her attention were we ever ask if we wanted a refill on our water. When we ask for the refill she ask if we wanted boxes I replied no because It tasted to salty & that's why I couldn't eat it. She said she would be back with our bills. We were charged for the entire meal. My friend spoke up and said we would pay for the meatballs we ate but we could not eat the spaghetti & do not feel we should be charged for it. The manager Bri, came to our table and in a very condensending tone told us that she tasted the sauce it was not salty& that there is no salt used in that recipe and that THIS TIME ONLY SHE WILL REMOVE THE PRICE OF THE SPAGHETTI & charged us for only the meatballs. I felt as if she were calling me a liar & she was not using good customer service. She most definitely does not know how to be a manager. Will I go back? No never! Will I share this experience with everyone YES....
Read more2/26/25 I recently dined at Zianos and had a disappointing experience due to the lack of consideration for dietary restrictions. When I asked our waitress whether the marinara sauce contained sugar—because I have an allergic reaction to it and also don’t allow my toddler to have sugar—her response was dismissive. Instead of checking with the kitchen, she simply said, “Everything has sugar in it, from mustard to tomato paste if you’re going to be worried about sugar.” While natural sugars are present in some ingredients, this response was unhelpful and dismissive of a valid dietary concern.
Additionally, she suggested I get my one-year-old a lemonade, speaking to him directly. When I declined and asked for water instead, she smacked her lips and said, “Oh.” While she was kind to my child, her attitude toward my questions was off-putting. When customers have dietary needs, especially allergies, they should be taken seriously.
Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and I won’t be dining here again. I hope Zianos trains its staff to be more accommodating and respectful when addressing customers’ dietary concerns or atleast list ingredients on a category on their website.
I only had the minestrone with a side house salad and my arm broke out with bumps and I have a massive headache, again I don’t consume sugar and I never felt like this...
