King Gyros — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

EDIT 7/14/25… every time I come here I’m expecting the best but I also know every shop has down days. They just do. From produce delivery issues to personal issues whatever the case may be. But man, I’ve yet to have a bad or even mediocre experience here!

I’ve saw this place many times but after a great review I saw in food group I finally decided to try it myself.. YOU GUYS! This place is so good! And the amount of food you get for the price is bananas! I was a little apprehensive about how long it was going to take to get an order when I pulled in bc they were pretty busy. 3 cars deep and I only waited maybe 10 minutes? I bought the gyro plate with an extra pita (your gona need it!) and the gyro fries. I had enough food to eat on for 3 days for $22, and a drink. The amount of food and quality was quite surprising actually. I have been to the one on Jefferson and it was not the same store on any level in my opinion. This is a great little shop I’d recommend it over any other gyro shop I’ve found so far in Fort Wayne. Edit: This was so good I went again today and got both the gyro plate(11.99)and the “jr” gyro(4.99) and AGAIN I was impressed with how much meat was on the Jr! For less than a BiGmAcK?! At this point I think I will use this for some meal prepping that’s seriously how much meat and ingredients your getting. The staff has always been kind and fast and friendly. I haven’t been inside yet but will update...

I love King Gyros on Goshen Road. (not a big fan of the one on Jefferson, they aren't nearly as friendly staffed).

This is one of my top three favorite local restaurants in Fort Wayne! Great food, great service, overall I just enjoy my time everytime I go. I also want to make it a habit to go at least once a week.

Specifically for the biggest reason that needs to be on every single restaurant front door in order for me to go, is that they THEY SUPPORT YOUR 2ND AMENDMENT. It's sad that they even have to have a sticker on the door stating you're welcomed to CCW as I believe it should be welcomed every where. I DO NOT go to places that are gun free zones. I wish more stores and restaurants woke back up from their long nap and smelled the coffee because this is our God given American right to have and I support them because they support me.

Long story short, they make bomb ass Gyros, and the place support America, I will be coming back again and...

Extremely Disappointed in the perch fish sandwich. I went two days ago and it was awesome this time I waited 20 minutes for this fish sandwich. And it was one small piece of fish . The employees at the register two of them as busy as they were ... just stood there talking. The gyro fries were good but there proportions where way off. 3 perch sandwiches cost 12.00 and there is just bread. I won't be returning for the perch.

I called to notify them of this and they offered nothing for the problem, they said they will let them know....

I basically got a bread sandwich with tarter sauce. Disgusting.

Well ill go to Willie's resteraunt next time for fish. And now I feel like my business isn't appreciated.

I'm just spoiled from grest service . This place doesn't have it. The food is good if the employees could step it up that be great.

For now you lost a customer that came twice a week. Have to get the bread sandwich taste out...
