Mambo Room — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Had waited for 25 minutes at the bar for a drink. When the bartender served a gentlemen who had literally just got there, and then reprimanded my friend for trying to order before she chose someone else to serve next, I informed her we had been patiently waiting. That was too confrontational apparently because she FLIPPED OUT on me. I did not approach this women with hostility. I'm not the type. I was surprised she even heard me because I was intentionally trying not to raise my voice. I don't appreciated being screamed at in front of a bar full of strangers simply because I tried to get someone's attention. Especially by someone who works there. She then informed me she was no longer going to serve me. ??? Never served me in the first place by okay. If you are female, i guess your money is not good here. Be prepared to watch every man at the bar be served first. And if you decide to say something, be sure to make a scene because you are going to get one whether you like it or not. Came to mambo room on 6/9/24, with my ESA (emotional support animal) due to my Anxiety, first couple of security guards had no issue with him entering but needed to make sure with the owner it was okay, 3rd security guard came at me aggressively and told me he needed indication he was a service animal I explained to him he is not a service dog he’s a ESA to help me cope with my anxiety, and told me i needed to move out the way because I was blocking costumers from entering the building which I was clearly not blocking and decided to put his hands on me and shove me and my ESA is a Belgium malinois a protective breed started to get hyped up and the Security guard threatened to shoot my dog because he would have attacked him , the security guards called the police and told me my dog isn’t being removed from the premises but I will be banned, I told them that’s a act of Discrimination, will be hearing...

this last Friday, myself and my bestie were touched entirely inappropriately by the security guard, completely unnecessarily and in way that actual professional security staff would never do. I’ve been to plenty of venues and shows to know to expect a verbal heads-up before being even patted down. our chests were fully groped without any warning and I can’t think of any justification for the kind of touch used. after walking in to see a bunch of men just sat staring at those entering (with only a couple of people actually dancing), we left and decided that would be our last time there. I’ve really tried to enjoy this spot, especially since Fort Wayne has very limited options for dancing, and I’ve been consistently disappointed by how dead it is inside despite the parking lot looking full.
