I'm going to describe about a dozen of my recent awful experiences.
I'm not insane. I don't go to McDonald's expecting great, or even "not bad" service. But I certainly don't go to one and expect to have to wait 10-30 mins (usually you have to flag someone down and force them to interact with you) before someone even has the decency to even Look at you or otherwise acknowledge your humanity.
And then, once you finally have someone's attention, to have them impatiently inform you that it's going to take another 20 mins for this order (in order that was originally submitted 20-40 minutes ago, on average) but they can't tell you why.
Is there a policy to wait until a delivery person is there to pick up the order before they start making it? Are they so arrogant to think that they can whip it together that quickly? That would be fine, if they were able to do that even 40% of the time. But no, they're arrogance is not earned. They cannot whip up orders consistently and in a timely fashion as evidenced by their terrible and consistent quality of performance.
Again this did not happen to me one time, this exact thing has happened to me many times in the past few months at several local McDonald's, including this one.
It would almost seem like the major problem is they focus exclusively on the drive through (which you're "not allowed" to use instead to pick up your order) and pretend the people at the counter don't exist. And it's not just me standing there, every time I go there's at least half a dozen other people who are standing there being completely ignored.
Are they understaffed? If that's the case then shouldn't they close the lobby and/or say in their delivery apps that they're not taking deliveries at the moment? Isn't that what you're supposed to do when you're understaffed, But you still want to be open? Isn't that the responsible, respectful, reasonable thing to do?
How much self-respect do these people expect their customers to have that they're going to wait that long for their orders or delivery pickups? How much disdain and disrespect is part of McDonald's customer service recipe? Are they wanting the people to leave and go to some other place instead? If that was the case, It would be nice if they would at least say so instead of abusively neglecting their customers for long periods of time with, what would appear to be, impunity.
I understand somebody having a bad day or maybe they're not doing their best work today. But every single day? And every single person on staff? That doesn't make any sense.
The people working here should feel bad when they go home because they've done a bad job and made many people's days worse for no...
Read moreFor starters, whenever I go here, they always get at least one thing wrong with my order. I just went there today with my 2 kids and while I was waiting on my food, management was reminding staff that the ice cream machine was down and to not take orders for ice cream related things. Some lady on the burger line said loudly "Thats right motherfu*r!". My children heard that lady too. But I will say the older lady that took my order seemed to be the only professional person working. She was very kind and patient. (She's the only reason why Im giving 2 stars instead of one). The last time I went there before today, I was in the drive thru and the young kid taking the money at the first window had a yogurt tube hanging out of his mouth and the second he gave me back my change, he pulled out his cell phone and proceeded to text people. Workers these days...I swear...I understand its just McDs but at least take some pride in your work and be professional. My fiance went there a few weeks ago and hes vert specific with his orders. When he got to the drive thru window, the person repeated the order back to him to make sure it was correct. He got all the way home and when he opened the bag, they still managed to get the order wrong. He had to drive all the way back to get it replaced. At this point, I am done with this McD's and they wont be receiving anymore business from me and my family. Im tired of the mess ups and the lack of...
Read moreI have been to this location twice and never before have I felt compelled to leave a review, but this is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The first time, I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and one came with a single patty while the other had 3?! Pure laziness, but not THAT big of a deal. Or so I thought, until I noticed the young lady on the foodline was chewing gum while she prepared food and the manager who 'helped' me smirked when I asked her about the gum chewing? She took my food, which I had taken out of the store and into the parking lot, opened it on the food make line and rearranged the patties. She touched the food with her gloves and utensils after I had already touched it. She had no guarantee of my cleanliness. What if I had rat poison or urine on my hands?! Any contaminants would now be all over the food prep area! Today, after much deliberation and against my better judgment, I tried this McDonald's again and ordered a triple cheeseburger. They rung up and I paid for...a triple cheeseburger. I received a double cheeseburger. Once again, not really a big deal, but seriously, I've been to this location twice with approximately a year between visits. Both times have been pathetic and defined by gross incompetence and filthy kitchen practices. Odds are, I'm not the only one receiving this deplorable disservice. AVOID THIS...
