Shoccu is a unique and delicious find in a strip mall in Southwest Fort Wayne. They offer a fusion of Japanese and Korean cuisine, with a focus on fresh and flavorful ingredients. I recently had the opportunity to try their lunch special, which included a combo of salmon nigiri and bulgogi with broccoli. The salmon was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the bulgogi was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The broccoli was also steamed to perfection. Shoccu is also one of the few restaurants in Fort Wayne that offers Dolsot Bibimbap. This dish is a must-try for any fan of Korean cuisine. It features a savory mixture of rice, vegetables, and meat or tofu, all cooked in a hot stone pot. The service at Shoccu was friendly and attentive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. Prices at Shoccu are on the average to high side for lunch. However, I believe the quality of the food and the level of service justify the price. Overall, I highly recommend Shoccu to anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience in Fort Wayne.

Had a chance to visit Shoccu on Illinois Road for dinner and found the place to be underwhelming and maybe average. There are many places to get sushi in town and everybody will have their favorite and tell you that the other place is the best in town. I still will contend that there is no better place than Sakura on West Jefferson next to five guys but to hear about that place. You can go over to my review for it. Here at Shoccu the thing that stood out the most was that it took forever for the service. They really weren't even that busy. It took forever to get drinks. It took forever for orders to be taken. It took forever for the food to come. When the food finally did arrive, I thought it was good but not outstanding. I enjoyed the spring rolled appetizers but again I've had better. The sushi rolls including the caterpillar roll and the crunch Munch were good but not outstanding. The salmon entree was tasty, well cooked, and flavorful. This place would probably get a higher overall rating. Had the service been better. Still, it's worth giving it a shot and seeing if you can find something that you haven't had at some of the other sushi restaurants in town.

Fast-casual Japanese/Asian fusion restaurant that does more than brisk takeout business as the dining tables (indoor and outdoor) are ample enough for perhaps 80(?) diners! The sashimi was fresh and clean! The sushi rolls were properly done and yummy! The apps and entrée options were varied and what we tried (General Tso's & spicy red pepper chicken dishes) were tasty, along with the small bowls of soup and salad! I would recommend to any for a quick lunch or a dinner with family/friends! We spent $65(+tax) for a full specialty roll, 1 nigiri, 1 sashimi, 2 entrées, 1 beer for 2 adults with a box of leftovers! The prices seemed fair for the portions, quality, brick-and-mortar, and Bidenomics stagflation currently.

Great sushi and sashimi... My wife and I have gotten sushi here 2 times. First time we played it safe and got Okay rolls. This time we were adventuresome. I got the Playboy Roll which didn't disappoint it's got a deep flavor that reminded me of BBQ flavors. Also my wife got the Sunset Roll she loved the flavor and the salmon was very fresh and tender. We also had the fried pot stickers Okay but you should go with the boiled ones they are the best. Negative- Beer was high priced and with a roll you don't automatically get a salad or anything like that.

Both the sushi and entrees we're good. Great if you want sushi and your friend doesn't. More of an intimate setting an a big groups. I bet occupancy is under 70 people. They could combine tables for a table of 8 but a big family of 20 people for lil Suzy's 16th birthday should go to another place. They do carry-out. They also have DeBrands so shout-out for local businesses
