Starbucks — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

I frequent this location because it is closer but I will say the service here is not as good as other locations. The location on US 27 is equally as bad (i blame their manager because it’s her not the staff) at this location it’s the opposite! There is a manager with a short hair cut PHENOMENAL but the drive thru staff could be better.

todays incident I had to speak out because it’s bothering me ..

Starbucks is doing promo for reusable cups with the purchase of a holiday drink. I tailored my order specifically for that because it’s my coworkers birthday and wanted to treat them.

drink comes out halfway filled without the cup. I ask the drive thru cashier “puck” i thought you were giving out reusable cups for holiday drinks

cashier :oh we are out of them, we are waiting for a shipment of them.

me:(there’s a stack of them behind her literally 4 stacks!) oh because there’s some over there?

cashier: i just grabbed what i could..

no resolution no nothing? i’m irritated because why did you blatantly lie instead of “oh i forgot” or here let me get you a cup.

this is so simple but i feel like we pay for service we should receive it. i know the other locations wouldn’t have that energy. it’s 7AM, it wasn’t a rush and it was literally a simple fix. i’m just over this location giving us whatever service at this point i’ll drive 8mins out my way for downtown or...

Update 6/29/24: It appears they increased their efforts to have a clean lobby, and now know how to make a dark roast americano just fine. The past few visits have been better. Changed to 4 stars. Old review: Asked for a dark roast pour over because every time I ask for a dark roast americano, they look at me like I'm a space alien. Wanted a 12 ounce with room. I got a 16 ounce with no room. Had to pour some in the trash to make room. I was there with someone and we had to pick from the least gross table to sit at, because every sitting location in the lobby (not kidding) had sticky, greasy, or crumb mess on them. My friend that was with me said she did not get the drink she ordered either, that it tasted wrong. With as many times as I've had problems with Starbucks here locally, I think I'm sticking with the many other good coffee shops that know how to make what I ask for, and bother to clean their lobby. Starbucks from back in the day is nothing like Starbucks...

Updated 7/7/24 I patronize this location often, but lately, the ball has been dropped and not picked up. This is a Pink Drink. I'm not sure where the pink is. Normally, I can't taste the coconut. This taste like coconut milk with a splash of the strawberry taste. This is not okay and for damn near $8, I was robbed today. Updated 7/10/2024 2nd pink drink that wasn't made right. At $8 each time, I can't keep wasting my money on a poorly made drink. When Leo was there, it was always made right, and if it wasn't Leo made it right and took accountability. Today, I was supposed to get a free reusable straw with my purchase. I didn't get it. Every other location has the Strawberry Acai cold, not this location. It's hot a piss. I spend hundreds each month between my trenta refresher, my wife's drinks, and my daughter's. Ig I'll save a good bit. I'll just get the base off Etsy and make my own, if I want it that bad. Doubt I will, you I'll do that...
