TKO CUBAN CAFE — Restaurant in Fort White

Planned on stopping by after paddling the nearby Ichetucknee River. So glad we did ! Ordered from friendly lady inside the red trailer and our order was ready in about 5-7 minutes. I had the Cuban, eating half for lunch and the rest for dinner. It was loaded with moist tasteful pork and of course crunchy pickles. My wife opted for an empanada and a tamal which she says were good, however favored the empanada. She says the light shell was delightful. We visited a few times while staying at an Airbnb in Fort White. We had Cuban sandwiches, pork with rice, beans & tostones, empanadas (all 3 kinds). Everything we ate was phenomenal. Having moved to North Florida 16 years ago from South Florida we are always looking to find authentic Cuban food and TKO is definitely the best we have found! The owner’s we very nice as well! Another vote for the Cuban sandwich. Well seasoned, moist, and more than generous with heaps of roasted, shredded pork. The largest Cuban I’ve ever had.
