Dollar General — Local services in Fort White

Customer service is garbage and the managers are the ring leaders.

The good: the place has what you need most of the time including groceries.

The Bad: Service is far from "speedy" and long lines of waiting customers never get so much as acknowledgement of their long wait. Much less an apology for it.

Managers act as if they can only communicate with employees and typically ignore customers.

New employees have great attitudes! Seasoned employees barely look at you during check out and it seems they won't muster a smile for you without getting paid extra.

I greeted one employee as she was going in to work & she didn't even look my way as she barely tossed back a "why are you speaking to me" toned "Hello".

The only guy that works there acts as if you aren't speaking to him when hes addressed and when he's forced to respond he delivers a bewildered look as if he doesn't work there and has no idea what to say or do.

Overall: The mentality there seems to be, "get what you need...

The only reason there's one star is because I had to to make this review you're better off going to the family Dollar nextdoor because the employees here especially Misty is rude instead of saying please watch your language she wants to get on you like you're a child when you're in your 40s she is always taking forever I have seen people in self-checkout check out more items than at the register and then faster they're always out of what you're needing from them I've even gotten milk that went bad the next day from there but the people at family Dollar or really nice at...

Maybe im in the wrong for going back 3 more times, but once again, I come all the way home and find items missing. These are things I paid for! Why are they not in the bag!!!!! At this point, you guys owe me like 50 bucks in snacks and drinks. I don’t have the time to be driving back and forth like it’s a damn McDonald’s not gettin my order right.
