If youâre looking for a place where your taste buds can do the cha-cha, look no further than Asiannights Lao Thai Cousins and Bar! This gem serves up authentic dishes so good, they should probably come with a warning label: âCaution: May cause spontaneous happy dances!â
Every visit feels like a culinary vacation. The moment you walk in, youâre greeted by the delightful aromas that make you question your life choices â like why you ever settled for takeout. The Lao and Thai dishes are so traditional, I half-expect a local grandma to pop out from the kitchen and offer me a cooking lesson (and possibly a family heirloom).
Their Lao style papaya salad is a masterpiece. Itâs like a party in your mouth, and everyoneâs invited! And let's not even get started on the jerky; theyâre so crispy you might think theyâre auditioning for a role in a crunchy snack commercial.
The bar? Oh, it's the cherry on top! Their cocktails are so refreshing that Iâm convinced theyâre made with the tears of happy customers. And don't worry, theyâve got so many options that even your pickiest friend will find something to sip on while pretending to be sophisticated.
In short, if you want to indulge in traditional Lao and Thai cuisine thatâs bursting with flavor and served with a side of laughter, Asiannights is the place to be. Just remember to save room for dessert â because their sweet treats are the perfect ending to a deliciously...
Read more*Edit in response to owner reply - While I appreciate the response, I would like to point out that your menu literally says the Korean BBQ comes with tomato and cucumber. So I don't appreciate them making it seem like I'm lying. I even attached a screenshot of their menu where it says this. In addition, whether your orange chicken dish actually has teriyaki or not, it did not taste like honey and orange at all. Not even close. It was not sweet, it was almost bitter. I usually love these small restaurants but unfortunately the quality was just not there. *
I have no idea how the reviews are so positive. If you come here do NOT get the orange chicken, it tastes nothing like what you would expect. It tasted kind of like teriyaki sauce (almost bitter) with no sweet flavor whatsoever. The Korean BBQ dish also was just 15% meat and the remaining 85% was all rice. Barely any substance for a $13 dish. The Korean BBQ did not come with any sauce only a super tiny cup of tomatoes and cucumber. Extremely disappointed for how positive the reviews are. Overall I'd suggest you skip this place. Thai charm and Thai Lao are both down the street from this place and a thousand times better...
Read moreTruly a gem of Fort Worth! Iâve traveled to Thailand, and my fiancĂ© is Thai, and I can attest that the food here is not only fantastic but authentic as well! We ordered an array of dishes on recommendation of a friend who is a regular (weâre told he goes almost every week). The food arrived incredibly fast despite being busy. Flavors were on point and really brought me back to my travels, especially eating at the Thai night markets. We loved everything we had but the dancing shrimp, pork belly, and Lao sausage really hit the spot! Donât forget the mango sticky rice. For a refreshing summer drink, try the Nam Ka Jiep (also known as roselle juice, made from a flower related to hibiscus). I donât see this offered often in other Thai restaurants. But if you canât handle spice well, get the Thai tea (pro tip: the proteins in milk/dairy bond to and wash away spice). What we loved even more than the food was the kind, friendly service we received. We felt like we were eating at a family gathering or with old friends. Please support and give this family business a try, you...
